Great for Pre-game
Edit 6.30.16 - After contacting the sellers, they were very very helpful. They fixed our issue and sent us a replacement for the defective product. They made improvements to the plug and filling of the balls. They still hit the same and have been in use for about 1 week now. All of my players still lie using these over the more expensive brands. They do not fly far, so small spaces for warming up can become a hitting practice. Both my kids (8 and 14) can hit these in the garage w/o damaging anything or anyone. I would not suggest using your "game" bat that cost $300+ as these ARE heavy balls and could dent or damage your bat after repeated use. If you have a BP bat or an older bat, I would suggest using that one. 5 stars because of the Seller's eagerness to fix the issue, and impact they had on me as a customer. I will be buying more when they are in stock again.Edit 4.20.16 :After about 3 weeks (3 practices a week) with our u15 team one of the balls has sprung a leak. It is losing it's filling right next to the valve with a small crack on the inside portion. I'll be reaching out to the company for a replacement and will update/adjust the Stars at that point.Brought these out of the box last night, and to the pre-game warm up for my U15 team. They are very good for being able to toss to each player and have the ball coming right at them like a wiffle, but they have to power through their entire swing while using these weighted balls. All of the players liked adding this drill to their pre-game, and a few commented that they felt like they were crushing the normal baseballs after the heavy balls. I will be ordering another 6 before the season is over.

Instant Feedback
I recently purchase the Slugs to have in my coaching bag for batting practice and pre-game warm ups this fall. In the spring we can use whiffles, but in the fall the winds push the whiffles too much so I started testing these weighted swing through balls. The 6 pack of brightly colored balls showed up within 48 hours of ordering. I was a bit concerned initially that the balls were too hard. Each ball is packed with a granular material. Other balls I have used have a bit more air inside and give more than these. After dropping them on my desk a few times I realized that the material inside had just settled and they started to soften up.Once I got them on the field with my team of 9-10 year olds, I realized how great they actually were. The feedback on each swing is instant! We did some front toss with the balls and when the kids would square the ball up, they would fly 10-15 feet. When the kids would not hit the ball squre, the ball really goes no where and elongates in mid-air.For the kids that don't swing through aggressively, the bat is easily deflected. The kids are really fixed to be more aggressive and swing all the way through the ball or the balls just fall straight down. Once the swing is corrected and we switched back to real baseballs, all the kids were finishing their swings and driving the ball with more power. I'm looking forward to using these for a full season and seeing how the kids progress. I will be placing another order before the new season.

Best hitting practice product you can get to improve power and mechanics. No need for a lot of space for practice swings. LOVE'M
I am so glad I picked Precision Impact Slugs, the size of these is perfect for my 9U team. We have been using some of these heavy balls with them to improve mechanics and power and I can say the team have been doing really well. I have seen some kids that used to swing using only their arms and now their mechanics are getting a lot better improving hip rotation, step and balance during the swing. We have not used them for throwing or fielding but exclusively for hitting warm up and exercises. The balls so far have been exposed to a lot of stress and hits but they are still looking like when they came out of the box, you have an option to give them more or less pressure which I think is great but we have not done this with ours. They clean up easy if you don't want to have a mess of dirt in your bucket of bag.We used them in two type of exercises, directly from the tee or with soft toss from different angles. The kids love them and they compete to see who can drive the ball the farthest for which we use some markers.I would recommend them for practice or pre-game warm ups as well for those who do not have a lot of space available. I use them with my kid on my garage when he want to take swings during winter of in rainy days. The other advantage of them is that we don't have to chase balls all around anymore since they do not travel far.I give all stars to them, they are great!

Slightly larger and firmer than TCB, but excellent value overall
These are good weighted balls for a very reasonable price. They are listed as "firm" in the description, I still consider them soft compared to say a baseball and some of the weighted throwing balls you can purchase (note these are not recommended for throwing exercises). Compared to the SKLZ and TCB 15oz weighted hitting balls they are a little firmer, that does not seem to affect their function any, just be aware they have a little different feel for tossing and hitting if you have ever used those..My main pickiness against them is that they are slightly larger than the TCB and SKLZ 15oz ball, sklz being smallest (but gray) then TCB and then the precision balls being largest. On the box it does say they are 2.9" that I did not note when I ordered on amazon. The TCB's are 2.8" I think. That is a more of a "note" than an issue and does not affect function at all, just be aware. You can see in the pics the SKLZ is softest, then TCB then Precision is firmest. Size did not show real well in the pics.As a side note, I have a 9yo and 10yo and I have not seen any recommendation on how many times these should be used for hitting, but I try to keep them under 10 reps at this age and weight. Powernet (have not used) does have some 12oz weighted balls that may be more appropriate for the younger kids, maybe not, but something to think about.
