This gel is quick acting and effective at numbing as advertised, however the sensation is quick to fade. Since you should only be applying this product a few times a day, it is not effective at providing long-lasting relief. It's fine for quickly trying to get some relief in order to fall asleep, but otherwise, it's pretty useless.
