I absolutely loved these towels when I bought them for freshman year move in. it came with three different sizes, and two of each size. I only needed two towels to last me until laundry day so these were perfect. The quality was super great and they were so soft. The color never wore down or got spotty, like other towels I have bought! the dark grey color lasted really well and they also never shrunk in the wash either. I am going into my sophomore year now of college and I will be able to use these again this year since they were such a great product. Towels can be so sneaky expensive and these were so great, so absorbent, and such great quality for the price!

Forty-five years ago I got a mismarked bath sheet that turned out to be top of the line, far better than the way it was marked. When it came time to replace my towels, I naturally tried to replace them with the same kind. Unfortunately one bath towel set of that type cost over $7000 now. After doing some research I found that, in general, what made towels good was (1) 100% Egyptian cotton (that's a type of cotton, not cotton from Egypt), (2) properly finished edges (so they don't unravel), and (3) heavy weight -- for a bath towel, over 700 grams per square meter (GSM). From the Celestia towels, I also found a fourth: well-designed weaving, which may be different for the washcloth than for the bath towel.Here I found a bath towel with >750 GSM, hand towel with ~700 GSM, and washcloth at about 650 GSM. All are absorbent and the washcloth's weave makes it comparatively easy to dry. These are all soft and comfortable (I've been using them for three months), and, unlike every other towel set I've owned, they don't get stiff after washing and drying. Even after 10 days' use, my washcloth still dries flexible and soft on the rack; when I wash the towel set, they come out feeling as comfortable as after the first wash. And the price is impossible to beat! If I could have given this towel set six stars for "value for money" I would have.

I bought this Villa Celestia 100% Cotton Bath Towel Set for the bathroom my grandson would be using when he recently moved in with us. I was looking for 100% cotton towels at a reasonable price, medium thickness and absorbent. Although when they first arrived, I thought they were way too thin, the towels do what I expect them to do. These 100% cotton towels have been washed repeatedly in hot water and there has been no shedding. They are soft and absorbent, on the thinner side of thickness and the blue color is attractive and has not faded. These are not towels for a busy family bathroom because I don't think they would hold up for too long, but for a bathroom that is used by only 1 person, they're just what I was looking for.

Great size. Very soft yet great for facial washing.

Thin. Not quality I expected, but I will make do. Would not order again.

Love these towels! Towels don't have to be bulky and plush to be good. What i wanted was a soft, quick drying absorbent towel det, and that is what I got.What good is a towel that you have to dry your skin over and over again, or a towel that leaves more lint on you than the towel?Give it a try, especially if you live in the south.

I was prepared to get what I paid for, given these were pretty reasonably priced towels; however, the quality is extremely poor! After one washing, every towel, hand towel and washcloth had an inordinate amount of strings as if snagging had occurred throughout; one towel also has a very large spot that is hard and crusty as if some chemical or something has been absorbed on it, and could not be “washed out”. I don’t care what any of the other reviews indicate, these towels are terrible - they are thin, when held up to the light, even in the darker blue color I ordered, you can almost see through them. Had I not washed them all, I would return the entire lot; they will be replaced in short order, as I cannot imagine having a guest use towels that look like they are totally worn out, i’m pretty disgusted by it myself. Washed these towels, a second time, and made a huge mistake of putting some other heavy colored items with them; the other items came out, covered with lint from the towels! And this was after a second washing! I definitely do not recommend trying to scrimp on saving and buying these towels; the quality, even considering the price, is a very poor value for your money. Lesson learned!!!

I got this yesterday and I already washed it. I just bought this as a cleaning towel because my other one finally fell apart. So this is a replacement. I only needed 1 towel, not a bunch of towels. So this was good. It seems to have a good cotton content. I like the color that it’s white. It has a good weight. It washed really good. And we’ll see how durable it will be over time. Recommend!
