Affordable treatment!
PetAction Plus Flea and Tick is a great alternative to the super expensive treatments. This products has the same active ingredients as the popular treatments. Having a 90lb dog it makes it harder to find any kind of treatment at a reasonable price. This has really saved my family a lot of money. We are able to buy 9 months of treatment at the same price of the 3 month for name brands you get in stores. The treatment came with a 3 month treatment. The packet was very easy to open and apply. In the packaging it came with stickers to put on the calendar to help remind you when you need to do another treatment. This is super helpful! The treatment is a liquid so you do have to make sure that you do not touch your dog until it is dry. The treatment takes a couple hours to fully soak in and dry. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be telling all my pet owner friends about this affordable treatment.

No ticks, no fleas
I don't know why others have a problem with this product, works great on my Lab. So I'll offer some advice, follow the directions. My dog is outside in the brush, woods and grass, he hunts. PetAction works as described. If these other folks are having control issues, time to treat your dogs surroundings. There are plenty of insect control products out there to treat your dogs area, use them. Highly recommend!

Need to make topical treatment more obvious
I wasn’t aware that it was topical treatment, my dog can not use topical treatment and needs oral. I wish that it was listed in the title. And the item is non returnable, so a complete waste of money.

Ok
I don’t know what’s happening to flea meds lately but even the expensive ones seem to not work as well as they once did. This one is ok. It helps! I live in the country on a farm so maybe the fleas are worse. No ticks though!

Same as Frontline, much cheaper, we like a lot
Much cheaper than Frontline and—yes—it is precisely the same ingredients in the same amounts. We have a 90 pound dog, so we buy the 89-132 pound product, then apply half each month. Saves us a lot! Also, although we do find ticks on her—we are in a heavily infested wooded area—we have not found any that have actually burrowed in and engorged themselves. Also, we've been told that even if ticks can get to lay their eggs the eggs will be killed and won't hatch. We can't directly confirm that any that may have been laid have been killed, but we can confirm that blood tests show she doesn't have any internal parasites.

It took a re-application a week later for my flea ...
It took a re-application a week later for my flea ridden outdoor Floridian pooches before I saw it work. Now they're indoor doggies and once a month does the trick. The price makes it worth purchasing again & again. I use 1 extra large dog application for 2 medium size dogs. I got advice from a (human) pharmacist who is also a veterinarian, and it is all about the active ingredients folks. If the active ingredients are the same as the name brand you're using with success, then search around, and you can save a bundle.
