Before getting this knock-off belt clip I had the real Samsung belt clip, which was great. This one holds the phone securely enough but can scratch your belt because 1) the spring clip doesn't open wide enough (not easily, that is) to get it over the belt without scratching it and 2) the part that touches the outside of the belt is not smooth so if you slide it across the belt to re-position it, it leaves marks.I didn't have this problem with the original Samsung clip, which was purchased on Amazon. I stopped using this clip when wearing a good belt and just put the phone in my pocket.

great, cheap clip for the Samsung Rugby II. It fits perfectly, and holds the phone securely. The only problems I've had are that the ratchet device slowly loosens - allowing the phone to spin freely after months of use. The other issue is that it can break if hit hard is probably true of all plastic things, so i don't ding the product too much for this. For that reason, when my first one broke after a year of use (I brushed against something and it snapped - so mostly my fault), I bought two more (one for backup). These are cheap enough, yet function well enough, that it is worth it!

This holster is OK but does not hold the phone in place when i bend over to get something off a low shelf or to pick something up from the floor. Because the phone has fallen under those circumstances 3 or 4 times, I am constantly putting my hand over the phone to make sure it doesn't fall or I actually disconnect the phone from the holster when bending over. I would not recommend this to others if they want to use it in situations other than standing upright.

Nice product. However, I bought three of these and I'm down to my last one because the holster breaks, at least for me, at the bottom corner(s) facing the ground (as pictured in the seller's example) too soon. I like this holster's configuration for its ease of operation but, it's prone to premature breakage. Now, if the holster was made of a more durable compound, I would pay the extra $$. When my last one breaks, shall I order three more?

I purchased this product for my husband who refuses to get with the 21st century and purchase a smart phone. His old phone holster was broken. This product was very inexpensive and my husband is completely happy with the quality and ease of use. Product met all expectations, is functional and has made my husband once again happy with the ability to carry his "ancient" phone on his pocket, without it coming un-attached and lost. All in all, a very inexpensive purchase which has met all expectations. Thank you for continuing to carry out of date and in my opinion "ancient" products to allow all old phone users the products they need to maintain their phones. Thanks again!

Although this says it is for the Rugby II (2) it must be for the earlier version (1) because it does not fit the II. Not even close.I did not want to bother with a return so I did not contact the seller. However, the seller contacted me wanting to make it right. I am very impressed with a seller that reads these reviews, cares about their customers, and tries to make things right. Upon checking, the seller did sent the right part (number). It just doesnt fit my Rugby II. I can't fault the seller. I would do business with this seller any day.

This belt clip works OK. However, it holds the phone facing out with the top latch only holding on to the clip at the top of the phone, where the original held the phone face in with the clip at the top gripping the whole surface of the top of the phone.

Good product for the very reasonable price . . . . . .. . . the shape of the product itself was not very satisfying for me. Guess it was for Rugby II and I have a Rugby III , they look the same but must be some difference.
