Almost 5 stars
We refer to the plush material over the back of the thumb as the snot rag or booger pad. It's basically for wiping the nose while riding. This material is kind of abrasive and does not hold snot that well. If you're wondering, you just wash the gloves when you get home.

Since I rarely review items, I’ll keep this short. I ended up on an impromptu Downhill Bike trip with my son. I rented the downhill Trek and they threw in the protective package with all Fox gear..except they don’t give you gloves! So, I actually had these gloves in my Camelbak. Lucky! Beat the living out of the rental & myself, but the gloves padding and my grip on the 90 degree weather was flawless! Worth every dime and exceeded any expectations! But em!

I needed some gloves to help NOT touch my face at the gym
The nation, indeed the whole planet, is very concerned over the latest virus outbreak, COVID-19 (for good reason) and we are being advised to be diligent, wash our hands and DO NOT touch our faces while out in public. One wonders, "HOW do I NOT touch my face??" For those of us who work out at a gym, this question becomes a serious problem. I mean, really! HOW, when you're working out, sweating, and such, do you NEVER touch your face?I went back in my mind to when I was a medic in the military and I remembered something about sterile procedure. Surgical GLOVES! Now, this isn't for sterile procedure but I remembered that wearing gloves always made me REALLY aware of my hands and what my hands were doing. "Automatic" behavior with my hands was gone because the gloves made me really aware of my hands and what I was doing with them. Also, I know that during the winter when I wear gloves, I don't like to touch my face because the texture of the gloves feels odd on my facial skin.So I looked for a pair of full-finger workout gloves and found these. They looked like they'd do the job so I ordered a pair. Today I got my new gloves and they look awesome. They're much nicer than I thought they would be. The fit is great (true to size) but the real test was to use them at the gym so off I went and guess what? SHAZAAM! They worked like a charm!1) I didn't touch my face because, as I thought, the gloves kept me VERY aware of my hands.2) They worked very well with the lat pulldown machine and other equipment.I couldn't be happier.PS For those of you who are thinking, "I have the half gloves with the fingertips cut off. Those should be ok." That type of workout glove didn't help me. I have two pairs of regular gym workout gloves (fingertips cut off) but because the fingers aren't covered I am STILL inclined to touch my face (to scratch or wipe away sweat, whatever) however that might just be me.These gloves are fabulous. They worked very well for me. What's more, they're nice enough to use whether I should or should not be touching my face. I'm a happy camper. :D

Recommended size chart could be better
These are actually great gloves, and for the price, u can't get them better than these. I attached a photo comparing them to my Giro Bravo gel gloves and Pearl Izumi. The Giro and Pearl are both medium and they really do "fit like a glove," nice and snug. I bought these in large because that's what was recommended on sizing chart, but they are just a tiny bit too big. It's not a big deal as to remove stars from the product but just something to keep in mind. I'm not gonna recommend that u go against their chart size either because I've personally never tried the medium for myself to see if it would be a better fit, and I don't want to be responsible for your disappointment lol.I always say that in order to see the true quality in garments, u need to flip them inside out. So that's what I did. U can see the difference in stitching quality of the Gearonic gloves compared to the Pearl's and Giro (not that Pearl and Giro shown in the pics are pro quality gloves, they are entry level gloves as well). U can see that Pearl Izumi has 7 little segments of padding distributed across a wider span of the palm and the Giro has 9. The Gearonic only has 3 large pads concentrated on the inner area of the palm. These are little design differences that will make big comfort differences on long rides, but at the same time, this is what makes this glove so affordable. The Giro glove shown cost me $25 and the Pearl's ran for $20. I've had the Giro for 2 years and going strong. The Pearl's have been used for 6 months and going strong. I've used these for 2 weeks and still good. As an every day rider, if these make it past 3 months I'll be more than satisfied. I picked these up as extra gloves any way. Go ahead and give them a try. They are surely better than no gloves at all and the bright colors and designs will make u look like a pro. I rock these on my Giant and everyone loves them. No one knows what I paid and that's the best part lol.

Real good gloves
These gloves were a a replacement for an inexpensive older gel . Today was the first time I used these gloves ,I found them to be far superior to my older ones when the were new. I recommend that you buy them and I would buy them again

Good to very good
The one feature these very reasonably priced gloves lack are a loop or two near the fingers to help when removing them when they are damp after a workout.
