Get a sata to usb3 Adapter or cable along with this. steps to follow for easy installation. Download Macrium reflect Free home edition software and install it. Connect our new ssd to pc using sata to usb3 adapter. clone the old hdd data to ssd by clicking the clone button on macrium reflect. you can choose which partion to choose or avoid, but make sure that the C:\ where OS boot files are installed to be selected while cloning. Then just press next and wait for clone to finish. once the clone is done shut down pc and remove the old HDD, just check youtube with your PC model for removing HDD and remove the HDD case and fit it to the new ssd and connect it to the sata port/old hdd port and power on. Boom the SSD loads the boot sequence so fast that OS loads in 12-18 Sec. and the old HDD can be used as portable hdd BY USING SATA TO USB ADAPTER AND PLUG INTO usb PORT.

Ya tengo dos SSDs como esta en mis dos portátiles y funcionan de maravilla. Ahora mismo es probablemente la mejor SSD que se puede comprar en este rango de precio y el almacenaje disponible es suficiente para un uso normal. Ho avuto modo di testare l'SSD Crucial BX500 480 GB per diverse settimane e devo dire che sono rimasta molto soddisfatta delle sue prestazioni. Innanzitutto, l'installazione è stata molto semplice e veloce. Bastava inserire l'SSD nel case del PC e seguire le istruzioni a schermo per configurarlo. Una volta installato, ho notato subito una differenza sostanziale nella velocità del mio PC. L'SSD ha una velocità di lettura sequenziale fino a 540 MB/s, il che si traduce in un avvio del sistema operativo e delle app molto più veloce rispetto a un disco rigido meccanico. Inoltre, l'SSD è molto più silenzioso e consuma meno energia rispetto a un disco rigido meccanico, il che è un vantaggio sia dal punto di vista del rumore che dal punto di vista dei consumi. Ik heb de 120GB versie van deze SSD besteld, om een oudere PC van een snelheidsboost te voorzien. Ik lees in sommige recensies dat de SSD traag zou zijn, maar dat is in mijn geval zeker niet zo. Als je in de bios of uefi de SATA controller netjes op AHCI mode instelt, en in Windows de intel RST (rapid storage technology) software voor je intel chipset installeert, dan gaat hij als de brandweer. Voor licht gebruik met alleen het OS met een klein aantal geïnstalleerde programma's is dit een prima SSD. Ik heb 7% aan unallocated space gereserveerd voor over provisioning, waardoor TRIM goed kan werken en daarmee de levensduur van de SSD wordt verlengd. Voor een budget upgrade is dit absoluut een prima SSD.

Vorab zu meinem kleinen Projekt. Da ich mich immer schon mal mit Linux beschäftigen wollte, ich ein altes Spielkind bin und ein 13 Jahre altes Notebook Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V3505 bisher nicht zum Wertstoffhof gebracht hatte, reifte der Gedanke, dieses etwas aufzurüsten und zum Linux Rechner zu machen. Dieses Notebook hat eine hervorragende Tastatur (ähnlich meinem Lenovo X1 Yoga 3thrd) und einen 15 Zoll Bildschirm ausreichender Helligkeit und Auflösung. Als erstes wurde der Prozessor von Intel Core Duo (32 Bit) auf Core 2 Duo (64 Bit) aufgerüstet (Intel T7200 2Ghz, refurbished 7,50€ im Auktionshaus). Ja, das geht in diesem Fall und mit dem verbauten Chipsatz. Dann wird der RAM von 1GB auf 2 bzw. 3 GB aufgerüstet, wenn die Speicherriegel denn mal kämen. Und die extra lahme HD (60GB) habe ich eben durch die Crucial SSD BX500 (120GB) ersetzt. Bei der ganzen Betriebssysteminstalliererei von Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon (64 Bit) mit anschließender Aktualisierung aller Systemdateien und Anwendungen ist die SSD nicht wärmer als 39 Grad geworden! Ich habe die SSD mit dem Blechrahmen der alten HD verschraubt (Löcher sind am richtigen Platz) und die dann in den SATA-Schacht des Notebooks geschoben. Jetzt hat so ein altes Notebook nur SATA-1. Aber was soll ich sagen, wo Windows XP noch sehr akzeptabel lief, war ein testweises Linux Mint 32 Bit mit der alten Konfiguration des Notebooks nicht zu gebrauchen. Jetzt mit dem neuen (alten) Prozessor und der neuen SSD könnte man glauben, man hat ein aktuelles Mittelklassenotebook vor sich. Jetzt muss die SSD nur noch lange halten. Bisher absolute Kaufempfehlung.
