This is a good value for candle dye blocks. A nice variety of colors. I started with 8 Oz. Of soy wax and used 1/2 of a single block. Each color has 2 blocks scored so you can use half. I used half of that so 1/4 of the amount provided. Since my candle was Christmas Tree scent I decided to use bright green. It looked very green in the pot so I added another 8 oz. of wax. They melted fine. The final color is more of a greenish aqua but I am happy with it.

I got these to add color to my wax melts. The photo is of the blush pink color added to a white wax. I was really worried at first because when it was melted, it looked almost red but the color came out perfect blush pink. I'm really happy with it and excited to try the rest and even some combinations. I really like the large variety that comes in the package. Dye is on the plastic bag and label of the melts but don't let that deter you from trying these. I also didn't get the flakes or spots that other reviewers noted. Maybe different colors require different melting temperatures? I also melted it with direct flame from a lighter and let a few drops land in my already melted wax. Be careful not to melt too close to the flame or you'll get some of the burnt wax in there too but easy to remove if you do. I'm happy with this purchase!

I received my package but every single little baggy with the dye blocks were stained. I want to say it looks like it got wet, but it more looked like they were burnt. It was all dark orange/brown and most of the blocks had bubbles and looked melted. I used them and the color is great but I will not purchase these in the future because the packaging was sketchy. Overall, they don’t smell bad, they are a good size. The vibrancy of the color is good for what you get cause you don’t need much. Overall they are easy to use. Just wish they wouldn’t have came messed up like they did. They could also use a bigger box, cause once you take them out, they are impossible to get back in the same box for storage.

I would first like to start by saying that the colors are true to description. I was deeply surprised at how little I used in each candle and what great results I've gotten with them. However, the packaging is not the greatest. Upon receiving the package I had noticed that some of the dyes had leaked out of their bottles and in the box. They also some leaked out of the bottles as I was using them before I had even cut the sealed dropper top. Overall, I would definitely order this product again because of the color performance. Build able and I am sure they mix well to. Can wait to experiment!

I recently tried the Hearth & Harbor Candle Dye for Soy Candles, and overall, I am very pleased with the results! This dye set is an excellent choice for candle makers and it easy-to-use colors that blend well with soy wax. However, some shades look a bit different once the wax fully sets. I suggest testing the dye on a small container before making your, to sell batch.

Some reviews were more directed to the presentation, I didn’t take that too much in consideration because the important was the quality and being this color wax probability is that the plastic bags would be a bit messy due temperatures variations. Mine was fine, I just disliked how small the color names were but problem solved, I printed labels and it’s also so much easier to pick the color I want from the box.
