I wanted to replace a set of ear buds I had lost which were the JLab Model JBuds J4. Those were really great quality but I didn't want to spend $30.00 to replace them. These earbuds had pretty good reviews and they only cost about 13.00 so I decided to give them a try. My experience was wow, I am glad did! They fit into the ear and hang there so perfectly and so lightly that you forget you are wearing them. I run with these and I also use them in my office while I am working. When outdoors running, I was pleased that these had a very nice bass sound without sounding to muffled. The highs were clear without being too shrill like some bluetooth headphones I have had. I could also hear things in my surroundings so it was not like I was deaf. They are pleasant in the office too, and I can hear people talking and hold a conversation while I have ambient music playing softly in my ears. The only downside is getting used to putting them on. I would help a great deal if they would label them as left and right. It always takes me a couple of minutes to put them on correctly, as this is not very intuitive. Once I have them on though, the sound is great. Quite a buy for only $13.00. I strongly recommend these.

My husband used his Iphone ear buds forever, and they finally bit the dust. He had been borrowing mine for several weeks but mine don't have the speaker feature. After much research, he finally decided on these. They have turned out to be such a great purchase! These were delivered quickly and were well packaged. They came in a small padded envelope. The ear buds themselves deliver a high quality sound. My husband really enjoyed the ones he'd been borrowing from me, and when these arrived he said these are even better than mine! He tested them in both his Iphone and his Ipad mini and said they both had a nice clear sound. The jack fit well in both devices even with a cover on. His favorite feature of these is the microphone. It was the determining factor in his decision to purchase these and he hasn't been disappointed. He says it's easy to make a call, and best of all, you can hear the other person through the ear buds! Everything is comfortable to use and well placed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend these to someone who is in the market for new ear buds. They're high quality without breaking the bank. Every feature of these work extremely well, and with daily use they have held up extremely well thus far. They're a great value!

This product has good enough sound quality and the cord seems sturdy enough not to break easily with typical handling. When pressed into the ear, ambient sound is reduced and sound from the earbud can be heard clearly enough. Hard to hear people talk with these earbuds in the ear. Hard to hear self talk with these earbuds in the ear. Hook over the ear stays in place, but is difficult to detangled from the line than closed loop earbuds. When talking to someone over a phone, others seem to have difficulty hearing me despite a built-in MIC. However family members reported being able to carry a phone conversation using their earbuds of the same model different color. This makes me wonder if my device is broken or if the product is simply not working as designed. It's now been a few months. The ear pads started falling off and needed to be replaced. Realized that the ear pads hug a long protruding hard plastic piece that would have had to be placed in the ear. Am now not pushing these ear buds as securely in my ear so as to avoid pushing such hard material into the ear canal.

These are surprisingly good earphones. My perspective is of one from someone who bought these to run, but ended up using them as regular ear-buds since I never actually ran. Still very impressed PROS – Comfort – these things fit snugly in my ears, creating a tight seal, and secure fit without any sort of irritation. Sound signature – Not exactly balanced as it was very powerful bass, and overpowers a bit, but the bass is also tight. This creates a fun and motivational sound. Usually I prefer a neutral sound, but I have a lot of fun with these, especially with my metal (deathcore) music. Great for pacing music. Build Quality – these feel well built for the most part, especially as far as the wire is concerned. The cord feels thick and durable. Price – I was already impressed with these without considering price. Well worth the full price ($28), but on discount, these things are a steal. CONS – Cord length - A tad short, especially since I like to route my cable behind my back, but considering these are for runners in mind, it's actually rather ideal length, and includes a clip. Material Choice – uses a hard glossy plastic for controls and housing. While it seems solid enough (doesn't seem to be brittle), it does kinda feels cheap. Would have preferred a material with a softer finish. THOUGHTS - The thing to keep in mind is that these were designed for runners, and it's apparent. Despite not being a runner, I'm very impressed with these as a general consumer, and I tried to keep that in mind when writing this review. I bought this a while ago as a replacement for a pair I though I had broken, but they still worked, so I kept these as a back up pair and forgot about them. Now I find my self using them because of the fun sound signature. Without thinking about it much, I thought these were a $40 pair of ear-buds, and thought “not bad”. So imagine my surprise when I look back at my order and discovered I only paid $14 for them! I'd highly recommend even at full MSRP ($28).
