My pressure pot cord is stupidly short, so I have to place it close to cabinets. That's an issue when steam escapes the pot and steams the cabinets. At least it uses a standard C13 (computer connector, typically) plug, so a replacement is easy to find. But, the pot draws a lot of current - so you need a heavy duty cord. Most cords of this type are 16 gauge or smaller. This is 14 gauge (smaller numbers are bigger wires, oddly), which allows for plenty of current draw. Only issue is the connector to the device seems a little finicky - I have to wiggle it now and again to get a solid connection.

I needed a short cord to connect the utility power to a UPS mounted on the wall. This one was the perfect size and gauge to make the connection without a lot hanging or looping. Just what I needed to complete a project.

I'm using it for lights that go around the underside of my camper, as the older, smaller guage (and shorter) cord just barely reached, and was starting to fray at the female end after less than a year's use. There is NO DOUBT, this one will work better and last much longer. Sure, it was overkill for the amp rating needed, but the this has not disappointed at all. HIGHLY recommended!
