Norse Tradesman Ox-Horn Shot Glass Set (5) - 2 oz Mini-Drinking Horns for Toasting Spirits

A fortnight past I set upon a journey to find and retrieve the greatest horned shot glass set in the entire kingdom. My journey was not without peril. Many men attempted to mislead me in my pursuit. One man attempted to sell me a standard counter-top horned shot glass set, while another trickster pitched me a meager two shot glass set – two shot glasses HA!! If a man has but two shot glasses, a man has but two friends. And a man who has but two friends is man who lacks power. I want for no such thing, and as such, I laughed at the notion of two shot glasses and slapped the man with a golden goose feather I had been carrying. Then I informed the peasant trader that the horned shot glass set I was seeking was one that far exceeded these simple plebeian sets, and that I had listened to enough of his foolery. I informed him that I was looking for something unique, something that would blow the minds of the heathens and wenches that regularly attend my pre-game parties. It was at that moment a beautiful nymph woman approached me and informed me that she’d heard of such a set. A gorgeous wooden & horned set with mystifying markings, where the magical wooden plank suspend the authentic horned shot glasses far above the earth and into skies, well above the fake granite counter-tops where most common shot glasses dwell. I was intrigued by her words and acquired more information. Eventually I found the Norse Tradesman Camp and I purchased this set. I’ve included pictures of it as proof that I, and I alone, located the greatest set in the land. Once I had the set I immediately threw a festival at my apartment. Men and women came from all corners of ancient Manhattan to admire and take part in the ripping shots from my unique set. When I first presented the set, they stood in awe -- “but how?” -- “Where did you?” -- “I’ve never seen...” -- “How many men did you have to kill to…” -- Those were just some the reactions I got. Two women who saw the set, women who had never once looked at me with the slightest physical attraction, immediately offered me their hand in marriage and one even offered 25 of her father’s finest goats. Of course, I declined. I already have 25 goats and 50 goats seem like far too many goats. We ripped shot after shot as we listened to songs by famous medieval composers, the likes of Lord Drake, Count Bieber and Dutchess Cardi B. I’ve never heard so much laughter in one room as I did on that eve. It was as if these horned shot glasses, once lifted from the skies and touched to lips, had reinvigorated everyone, and that just being the presence of this set gave everyone hope. Hope that maybe, one day, they too could own such a set, they too could accomplish their dreams, and that they too could pay off their student loans and not be stuck renting apartments for all of eternity. But alas, I know of only one way to accomplish this, and it’s by making the journey to Norse Tradesman and purchasing the shot glass set. You see, “One may linger in the presence of greatness and feel great, but to truly be great, one must create the presence of greatness for themselves.”

This was a gift for my husband and he LOVED it. All of his buddies in his band thought it was a Greta gift and they all were excited to take shots together. The shot glasses only hold about half a shot each, but that’s all you really want because you get really excited about taking shots from them and easily take too many. In my picture I have the set on our olive oil bottle because we drank all of the other one. But as you can see, there’s a hole in the middle of the wood to set the bottle in. The wood is hand carved and polished so after you clean the set off it’s all shiny and beautiful! The little horn glasses are shiny and all unique and gorgeous! Love everything about this set and company. We ordered the mugs a year ago and they’re gorgeous! One mug leaked so we use that for our display. Love this company!

I am giving these as a gift so all I can do is review the look. Very attractive. Small enough for a finger of booze but a little big for a traditioal shot glass. But they are very cool and all have different shapes and colors.

Great piece qnd center piece in the bar. One of the bark pieces came off when unpacking. Seems to be a little larger than the rest coming from real wood I understand. Quick hot glue and back to new. The horns hold 2 Oz which is more than enough for my mead drinkers to toast with.

One of my drinking horns arrived damaged. Their customer service was prompt and courteous, and I received a replacement within a week. Good company!

Beautifully made and delivered with care. Functional and easy to care for

The first impression when unpacking this was just WOW! The product looks just the same in real life as they do in the photos and the burlap sack that it comes in is a real nice touch! This set of shot glasses gives off a vibe of authenticity and quality that is undeniable. I love the look and feel of the horns and never before has that rum tasted so good. This set will have a prominent place among my horn mug collection and will surely be the centerpiece of every pregame. Bringing out these shot glasses around a bottle of dark rum will more than likely trigger a few reruns of Game of Thrones while getting that party started. Taking a swig out of these exquisite shot glasses makes me feel connected to my Viking forefathers in a way that no other product has before. As a Swede I feel more qualified than most to say that Thor and Loke themselves would have been proud to drink out of this fine set of shot glasses. I highly recommend this product to anyone with an interest in the Viking culture, Game of Thrones and liquour - or any combination of the previous! Bottoms up!

My Husband and several friends make their own Mead and they normally pass around shot glasses for everyone to try. This looks like the perfect gift to use for their tastings. This is a Birthday gift that will be given around Christmas, so I have given this product 3 stars. Upon first inspection, it meets my expectation. The set comes in a burlap sack, the "shelf" is beautiful with a nice stain, it looks sturdy so I suspect this will hold up great. All the horns appear to be in perfect condition, no chips or cracks that I saw, believe me I checked after reading one of the other reviews before purchasing! As I said before this is a gift, and I do plan on adjusting the rating once my husband gets it. I suspect he'll be using it on his birthday with his homemade mead, and maybe a special bottle from Dansk Mjod or Medovina Meadery (His top two favorite meadries). I have a feeling this will be a 5 star and a big hit with our friends, especially by our fires.
