Very Good
Very good reeds and durable. They last a good while. I have purchased several times usually about 2 packs a school year.

I bought these Rico 2.5 reeds for my granddaughter, who is learning to play the alto saxophone, and they’ve been fantastic. The reeds are durable, affordable, and provide a consistent sound, which is perfect for a beginner. They hold up well to regular practice and are easy to play, making them ideal for students. Highly recommended for anyone starting out on the saxophone!

Reliable Reeds for Everyday Playing
The D’Addario Rico Alto Saxophone Reeds (Strength 2.5) are a solid choice for any saxophonist. They’re consistent, easy to play, and produce a warm, balanced tone.I like that this pack of 25 offers great value for the price, making it ideal for students or regular players who go through reeds quickly. While they may not last as long as some premium reeds, they’re reliable and perfect for daily practice or performances. Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality reeds at an affordable price!

A Quality Reed That Works!
I recently purchased an Alto Sax to begin playing again after a 60 year hiatus. The Sax came with one new reed that just didn't feel right, or sound right. I bought the 3 pack of Rico's figuring I'd give them a try. As soon as I stuck one in my mouth to moisten, I knew immediately I had the correct reed. I don't even know the brand of reed the Sax came with, but for now on I'll stick with the Rico. I have a VERY Long Way to Go in my quest to relearn the Saxophone but at least I am no longer handicapped with a cheap reed. Rico to the rescue!
