I have dry not so sensitive skin. I love the way this smells and feels on my tired parched face.

Small tube, but this is an amazing moisturizer. It is quite rich feeling yet feels light when applied. I’m confused that some other reviews mentioned a strong smell. I don’t smell anything really- maybe just an extremely light & clean scent.

I bought this full-size tube of Avene Hydrance Optimale Rich Hydrating Cream after falling in love with a small sample tube that came in a subscription box. At the time I received the sample, I was battling an unusual case of dry flaky skin that was embarrassing. Within a few days of regular use, my skin looked like new. Soft and clear. The tiny sample lasted a long time, so I didn't hesitate to buy the full-size tube even at this price. I use this every morning and night after cleansing my face. My skin stays soft, even with the dry winter skin and drying indoor heat. My makeup glides on smoothly. This is my go-to moisturizer year round now. Another reviewer mentioned being concerned her product may be counterfeit. I only buy products like this when it says Sold by Amazon and not a third party so I make sure I get authentic, fresh products every time.

I moved out to Arizona back in 2020 and shortly after that, I became a reptile. My skin would become flaky and peel and I tried several different types of facial creams and lotions with no luck. I went to a dermatologist who recommended CeraVe, and it did help my skin to an extent. It took care of the flakiness, but I would still see the dryness, especially when I looked in the mirror up close. I recently was on Google doing a search and came across this brand. I thought I’d give them a try and though I was skeptical, my skin has not looked this good in years. My skin feels smooth, hydrated and NO greasiness. I highly recommend this product.

Skin cremes I thought I had tried them all, it seems. Not all, a friend recommended Avene,after I expressed admiration for her glowing smooth skin. Some of the smoothness is, I know, due to injections, but not all. She had tried the Avene moisturizer at the recommendation of her dermatologist. She Uses it particularly in the winter when her skin becomes more dry. She paid a lot more for her Creme, than I did. I found it on Amazon, and was very pleased at the price. This is more of a daily facial cream which I use morning and night. I cleanse my face with Cetaphil, and then I add a serum and top it off with Avene moisturizer. I only need some mineral powder, blush and mascara, and my day is set. This moisturizer really makes my skin feel full and hydrated. It is not greasy, and absorbs any oil for a shine-free finish. The formula gives me a supple feel and a matt finish. I have never had sensitive skin, but as I grow older it has changed in consistency. It tends to dry more quickly, and, of course, more lines appear. Based on mybfriend's remarks and from what I have read, Avene has been well tested, is not greasy at all. You only need a small amount on your face and neck, and I use what us left on my hands. This skin care product is made in France, and there are several other components to the skin care line you can try. I am using only this face moisturizer, but may try the other products. Nice quality, is good for sensitive skin, I use it every night before sleep, the prize is good though is cheaper in my local farmacy, the size is average, the skin absorbs it pretty good, and is very lightweight.

I love all Avène skin barrier creams, recovery lotions and i just purchased this "Hydrance" cream. Texture is nice, it's unbelievably hydrating but the scent is overwhelming. It caused me a headache. So I decided to return it. Then I thought I'll give it another try and Oh my.... For the love of God, remove that awful scent. The reason I love Avène product is because theyre unscented, except this one I guess :/

This skin care brand and version is just perfect for dry skin. I wear the light in summer and the Riche in winter to prevent dryness on my face. It doesn’t have perfume and applies very well to give you smooth skin.

I love this product. I would never use anything else .
