You need this add on kit if you have this Lego set. It’s unbelievable and is a far cry from the Legos I had as a kid. The lights and sounds are amazing. As far as assembly, it’s very tedious. The wires were all OK length for me, but I would up mounting the control board on the bottom a little differently than shown because the white wires going to the rear brake lights were a tad too short. Step 10 is very confusing, you need to unplug the grill lights and plug them into a separate control board that make them act like turn signals. The effect is worth it, but not clear at all from the instructions. The sounds are great and it’s really cool the entire Ghostbusters theme is included and not some weird instrumental version.While very tedious (my son built the entire car himself but for very stuck on this set), everything worked properly for me on the first try. They do a good job of hiding wires too, you can’t hide them all but it’s not bad. I was very concerned about breaking the wires when I put bricks over them, but they all stood up to that no problem.This did ship from China so it took a little longer to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait. Other than the LEDs being teeny tiny and challenging to install, this is a great kit.

I was concerned that putting this together was beyond my skills, never having done anything like it, but my son wanted it, and he built the LEGO car, so I did it. It was fairly easy to read the instructions. The bricks they used were likely not genuine LEGO bricks, so were a bit difficult to get in, but worked just fine in the end. I was very careful not to tug on the wires, but I did have to move some of the connectors multiple times. In the end, it all worked. My son figured out how to work the remote. He has really enjoyed it.

A heavily non verbal autistic kid could write better intrusctions. Half the lights don't work. It didn't arrive in a timely manner. The materials are so fragile it's laughable. It's dang near impossible to put together. Worst thing I've ever bought, -10 out of 10, NEVER AGAIN. Waste of 70 bucks. Please save yourself a huge headache DO NOT purchase this item!!!

Lights and sound are incredible! So easy to install and it hides most of the wires so the set looks clean. Had a question for the seller and he responded quickly and with good advice. Definitely recommend to any ghostbusters fan that bought this lego set!

This is one of the better light kits for Legos I've ever seen.The best part of this set is how the instructions are so intuitive. Some of the other light kits I have are not very clear in terms of assembly and part identification. This kit marks everything in different bags by step and has clear and large pictures indicating how the tiny parts all plug in together.The sound quality is are great too, which i was not expecting from such a tiny speaker.The only area that i think would be better is having a longer wire that could extend to the top FRONT might section that hides better than by the drivers door.In closing, I will say that if you were on the fence about getting a light kit for Legos, start with this one and you'll be blown away.

This thing is badass once you get it installed, but the instructions are very frustrating because the seller uses photos only, and if you look at wire 3 and chip 10 there are 2 ways you can plug the lights in, I had to draw the parts on a piece of paper to figure out how to wire it.. hope this helps you guys... I still like it very much...

I used this for what it was marketed for. The instructions were not clear. I had to mesh two sets on instructions together because the one for installing the sound rc version was missing steps. The sound module didn’t even work though. The materials were poor quality. I was as gentle as I could be but some wires still broke. I should have gone with a different brand.

Everything that was promised was delivered. The lights look great and the speaker quality is better that I was expecting. Most all wires are hidden from sight and the set looks even better. My only problems with the kit are the instructions that can be hard to follow at times and the remote setup. All in all, if you're looking for a light kit for this set I would highly suggest this one.
