Genuine Fred ICEPOPS by Dan Saelinger, 500 piece puzzle

The colors of this puzzle are super vibrant with sturdy pieces.This puzzle did not take us long to complete, but the variegated colors was challenging and you cannot rely on just how the type of candy.This would make a great puzzle to give a beginner and of course that candy lover! Fun for a gift basket with some rosè and peach rings!

Pieces well cut

I am normally brand-loyal to White Mountain puzzles, but because of pandemic there have been shortages over the last 6 months! I decided to give this puzzle a try, and I actually was surprised by the quality.I absolutely abhor cheap puzzles with thin pieces and weird shapes, and there is none of that here. Each piece is about the size and thickness of a quarter coin, perfect. The pieces are in standard shapes (see photo): some people may find that boring, but I prefer it (especially on a “minimalist” design like this). Note: it is challenging to know whether you are fitting the right pieces together, because of the fact that they have standard cuts.You get a bonus poster of the puzzle for reference, and the pieces come in a reusable ziplock baggie. 500 pieces is a small enough size that you can work on the kitchen table without everyone raging at you for using all the space, and it assembles quickly enough.My one star off is because I don’t consider this a great value, even considering the good quality. Normally I can get a 1000-piece in this price range.

This was an Easter gift for my daughter and we all had fun putting it together. Everything fit well.
