Best grips I've found for the Sig
These are pretty pricey compared to most grips for other pistols but the Sig grips wrap around the back of the frame so I imagine the have to start off with a pretty thick chunk of material, lol. Texture is just about perfect, grippy enough so the pistol isn't moving on you but doesn't bite into your hands. Fit was perfect and they look great installed.

G10 Is So Much Better Than Aluminum
My P229 originally came with aluminum grips, and they worked, but I never really liked them. They were pretty slippery, especially if your hands were oily or sweaty, and they always felt cold to the touch. These grips are pretty expensive, but they are so, so much better than the originals. More recoil control, and just a better grip in general makes my old P229 feel like a whole new gun!

Not your typical rubber grips
My Sig 229 was one of the first ones made...so how old is that...20 years? It has been in storage this entire time, and thought I would clean it up and get some time with it to see if it would make a good backup to the Glock 20 i lug around. First, it fit perfectly...no munging around to try and get some ill fitting rubber grip underneath the decocking lever. It feels like shark skin, if you are familiar. It doesn't rub on clothing like rubber, but will sink into your skin. I wasn't too keen on the oval pattern of the sides, but can see the value if you have wet/muddy gloves on and need a good grip. I haven't fired this yet, but would imaging it would begin to filet some skin after a day at the range. But these are not designed to be comfy, they are for a sweaty tactical situation where you need a good grip. The Damascus pattern looks great on the Sig. Pricey, but worth it.

Good grips, but not solid black
Bought based on solid black description hoping the picture was wrong, but the picture is an accurate representation of the product. No big deal, I was planning on cerakote anyway. Otherwise grips have great texture without being too aggressive and fill my hand a lot better than the stock e2 grips. Would buy again

prefect fitment
placed these on my m11-a1 and they fit great. the factory grips did not fit my hand well so i wanted these or the aluminum to replace them. ended up with the g10 for the grip. reused factory screws because these do not come with any. they fit perfectly and function fine, does not get in the way of mag catch or decocker

Hard to find grips at a great price!
G-10 slab side grips are everywhere. These are like hens teeth. I love the P229, but they're hard to find replacement grips for. The wood is pretty, and fine for the range, but the grippy G-10 is is much better with slick, moist, greasy, real world concealed carry conditions. The Legion grips are thinner, a little less tactile, and holy crap, more expensive. Besides, these look sweet on a 2-tone 229.

Quality
These provide a lot of friction. My old ones were worn out and almost smooth. The stippling was consistent and I can see how these would tear up a new shooters hands. Grey looks good on the black. Easy to change out.
