Thank you for the inquiry! Our Sofa Pet Bed features two zippers for easy removal of both the core and fiber bolsters. Our covers are indeed washable, we ask that you remove both the bolsters and the core, zipping the cover shut and shaking off any loose debris before placing it in your wash. Wash on a gentle cycle, tumble drying low or air drying to prolong its life. Do not bleach

Q: Some colors appear to have a quilt top, rather than faux fur. Wine and warm brown. Is this an accurate image?

Mine has a quilted top on the mattres and a soft faux material as a cover.

Hello, and thank you for reaching out to us with your question. No, this bed is not waterproof. Our Sofa Beds feature a polycanvas base panel that is water-resistant, but not waterproof. We do sell Indoor/Outdoor pet beds that feature water-resistant covers that may be a better match for your pup! However, again, these beds are water-resistant and not fully waterproof.
