Unscrew the circular edge part of the trimmer to expose the battery compartment.

Are they Stainless Steel Blades ?

I don't think so. They are very flexible and I would think that stainless steel would be more rigid. But, I could be wrong.

Turn faster with a Lithium Battery?

I returned this product because it didn’t properly work. I would not recommend it.
