Does this shampoo help with hair falling out?

Depends on the reason for hair/fur falling out. I think it's important to first take your pet to a veterinarian for a diagnosis of WHY fur is falling out -- could be a systemic or nutritional reason totally unrelated to anything that this shampoo would help. Benzoyl Peroxide shampoo was recommended by my vet for my German Shepherd's skin issues on his belly (itchy, crusty bumps). The shampoo clears up the problem and regular use keeps it from coming back.

Has anyone used this on cat dandruff? Is it effective for this? He doesn't itch but he's just covered in white flakes.

It helped our schnauzers dry skin flakes , so I would think it would help dandruff. I also add a very good condition of mine after. I love the shampoo for our black dog.
