My son bought a cheap Fender Starcaster off of Facebook Marketplace, but the electronics were shot. I was going to write it off as one of those life lessons when I discovered that fully-wired pickguards were a thing. I bought this one because it was relatively cheap and I didn't expect much. But everything was fine. I was able to figure out the wiring from the diagram in the description easily enough (there are no more instructions). The holes didn't quite line up, but I drilled new holes, which worked perfectly. I don't have enough experience with electric guitars to comment on the tone quality but there wasn't any static or buzzing, which is a lot better than what we had before. I guess this was one of those life lessons: the good kind.

Loved the simple upgrade of my project. Easy to install. Sounds great. Minimum soldering three wires Install wiring diagram.

I installed this pickgaurd in a Squire Affinity sss it fit no problem,couple of the mounting screws were a little off but screws went in and not noticible once it was installed. Big improvement over the original pick ups Ordered another one for my other guitar. Order one you wont be dissapointed!
