Superb Coffee! Doesn’t break the bank!
So excited to finally find a coffee my picky husband loves! And he is absolutely right! It is delicious. I even prefer it to Kona Peaberry! Definitely buying again.

Great Product! Gamer Approved!
I’ve now tried four different roasts from Volcanica Coffee Company, and each one has offered something unique. I've brewed all of them using my Chemex, standard pour-over, and French press setups. Across the board, these beans have been fresh, aromatic, and consistently better than anything store-bought. The Costa Rica Tarrazu has been my favorite so far - smooth, clean, and vibrant, with a nicely balanced citrus brightness and a touch of sweetness. It’s an easy 5/5 and one I could easily see as my daily brew. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe stands out with its bright, fruity, and floral profile. It makes for a clean, complex cup that’s perfect when I want something a bit more lively and layered. The Bolivia Peaberry was rich and full-bodied, with a deeper, more nuanced flavor. I may have received an older bag, but it still tasted great. A little pricier than the others, but worth it if you're looking for something different. The Mexican Medium Roast was smooth, balanced, and slightly nutty with a mild sweetness. It’s mellow and easy to drink, perfect for a more traditional daily cup. Here’s my current ranking based on taste and overall experience: 1. Costa Rica Tarrazu 2. Ethiopian Yirgacheffe 3. Bolivia Peaberry 4. Mexican Medium Roast I'm Excited to try more from Volcanica soon. Highly recommend their whole-bean options if you're looking to step up your home brewing game.

Kind of of enjoyed it.
I'm very familiar with Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee. It's one of my favorites. This batch was good, but not top shelf as I expect from this particular bean. The aroma was mild, the taste mild, and the buzz good, but far from the punch it normally contains as the most potent. So I respectfully gave this review 4 stars for this reason. It's a 12-15 dollar 16oz quality, not a 20 dollar one.

Aromatic and smooth. A pleasant cup.
A perfect cup of coffee, in my opinion. This is the first time I've ever ground my own coffee beans. The grinding, brewing, and drinking were all enjoyable. The coffee is so fresh, and there's nothing like that aroma. This low acid coffee has all the flavor of any other brew. I have stomach problems, but I love my coffee. This product didn't bother me at all. I would buy this again. It is worth the money.

Lacks flavor for me but definitely smooth.
I was really looking forward to this coffee, it gets great reviews and visiting their website leaves no doubt this is a quality company. I promptly received my order through Amazon Prime, checked the date on the bag and it was roasted two weeks ago so I opened it up the bag and it smells amazing. Poured the beans into the hopper of my Saeco Incanto and noticed they were roasted lighter than I normally buy, a milk chocolate color but I expected a lighter roast from the reviews. I hit go and my grinder came to life and soon I had a fresh cup of great smelling coffee. Now the important part, taste. It is smooth, no off flavors and very low acid, the problem is the lack of flavor. A light to medium body but so bland and such a disappointment. I think I will blend it with another dark bean coffee I have so as to not waste it but I won't be getting this one again. I will however try another coffee from this company, they have a great offering and the quality is top notch. My go to coffee is Starbucks Colombian but keep trying new ones to someday find that coffee utopia.

Delicious, my go to!
I absolutely love this coffee. I get the low acid one and it doesn't make my GERD flair at all. My favorite method is to grind fresh and brew from French press. If I don't drink all of it, I'll put.it in the fridge and enjoy it iced later.

If it wasn't for the bitter rancid taste, it would have no taste at all.
I have ordered Tanzania Peaberry in the past. It has always been fine. Not this time. The beans were the correct size. However, they were pale brown and looked very dry, not oily. When I first opened the bag, The aroma was fantastic. I was looking forward to a great cup of coffe. I ground it on medium using my burr grinder; I used a V60 filter; I used 20 g of beans for 320 g of water just off the boil. I bloomed the coffee for 60 seconds using 100g of water; the remaining water was added in two more batches. I know how to make coffee. The first hint of trouble was when I held it to my nose to smell. There was none of the original aroma. The taste was thin, bitter and VERY rancid. I didn't believe it could be that bad. I adjusted the grind, moved to a Melita #2 filter and retried. Same result. It was disgusting. I went back to bag. By now all that lucious original aroma was gone. It now smelled like it tasted. Rancid. It was roasted on 4-11-25. It is now 6-2-25. The beans were not THAT old. If your goal is a smooth cup of coffee with great depth of flavor, stay away. This qickly was eating a hole in my stomach. The Peaberry I get from my local WinCo is fresher and more flavorful. At any price point, much less Volcanica's higher price, the coffee is a rip off.
