The item was sold damaged.

I received the HDD but it didn’t work. I tested it with four different SATA cables and on different ports. I even tested two other HDDs on the same setup and they worked fine. This one didn’t show up at all. It might be a connection defect, but I’m not sure. I requested a return.

Packaging was just bubble wrap (maybe damaged or dropped in delivery?) and HDD is making abnormal mechanical sounds like head hitting, ordered CMR 8TB another HDD to replace, I cannot trust this HDD to keep my data

I bought three 8TB hard drives, one was working and two were faulty and not working. The devices did not arrive in original packing and were in bubbles wrap.I tested them on more than one device to confirm if my device was the issue but with no avail, the HDD were failing and not responding

First of all this item comes in plastic bag with no protection at all !!Second thing this HDD is not working at all. I wish that I returned before the return expires.

Not working and package was not good

Drive stopped working a month after we received it.
