Saves mess and I can use my vintage pot safely
I bought liners because I have an old Crock-Pot from the 1970s. I read that old ceramics can leach small quantities of lead from glazes used in that era. Now I found that the FDA has not listed ANY Crock-Pots in their lead warning list, so I didn't really need the liners. But, hey, they save a lot of scrubbing.
