These feel a bit fatter than my Vic Firth 7A set, and definitely a bit longer, so they took me a little while to get comfortable with them. I think they feel better balanced although that might be just me. Either way I feel like I'm getting better rebound with these. The tips are a different shape although I'm not aware of noticing any benefits from this. Anyway they seem like good quality sticks you'd expect from Vic Firth so it's mainly personal preference whether or not you like them.
