(6.5", Black) - DS18 17cm Plastic Grill Cover Pair for Universal Subwoofer - Black

Looks great, fits right over my Skar 8inch woofer. The screw holes lined up perfectly and I made it very tight and it didn't crack. Also comes with two grills, for dual woofer setups.

When I installed my DS18 6.5s in my doors, they were unprotected. Watching people get in and out of the car made me realize they needed to be protected. That's where these covers came in. They only had the yellow ones in stock for the 8s and 6.5s, no big deal, I ordered them up and painted them black. The style of them is good and the protection is adequate. Thanks DS18!

Very happy with these. I used them to cover two 6 1/2" speakers with somewhat odd-shaped edges. It took some ingenuity and spacing using rubber weather stipping but they did exactly what I wanted. Some reviewers have said they only got one grille but I did indeed receive 2 in the same package.

The speaker covers should have been made from a tougher plastic material. Some materials are made with recycled plastics in combination with, of all things, wood for added strength. These materials have been found in engine manifold parts, and have even been used on carburetor parts where heat is an issue. Check it out!

Got these for the speakers in my rear deck since my aftermarket speakers didn't come with any.Fit really well and are sturdy. They wont keep small objects out but that's not a concern for my use.
