How does it light up?

When you hang it gently push the top of the holder or pull the bulb and it lights up as there is a battery inside the top of the bulb pin. Hope it helps.

How to keep the light on? and how do i make the light bulb stay still and dont fall off?

The light bulb does not fall or move it stays still on its on balanced by the hock at lest mine does not, if the bulb is loose you have to gently tighten the of the bulb screw.
