Good quality globe. A must buy and nice packaging and quick shipping

The globe and stand are beautiful. I based my review on only that fact, specifically. However, this item was purchased to be a gift. So, to me, first appearance is very important. That said- the corner edges of the blue display box are slightly bent under. The packing was nonexistent: the display box was placed in an envelope with very thin protective bubble sides.. It was, thanks to the delivery, thrown in the middle of our porch floor which is concrete. I was amazed it was not shattered. However, the globe and stand were intact and are very beautiful. I will give it as the gift I intended. I wish the seller would pack his items appropriately because the item is so nice.

We bought this as a gift for our supervisor and she LOVES it. She said everyone that comes into her office spins it. It sets so nicely on the cube and is made so well that when one spins it like the earth would turn it will spin evenly without coming off the cube. It is a nice weight and size for a desk. We didn't want something big that would take up too much space and this is perfect. We gave her a "You mean the WORLD to us party" and this was the #1 gift.

I really like this globe and a great price! It's quite heavy and a quality product. I gave it for a gift for Christmas and he seemed to like it a lot. I love the stand too...I found myself spinning the globe with my finger at the table during our Christmas party. It definitely catches the eye!

Elegant, beautifully executed, and a great addition to any collection of globes you might want to keep handy just to stay hopeful. When the news rises from mere foibles to outright horror ( like bubbles in a sceptic tank ), picking up a globe might help reset perspective. A long so fondled set of old globes (cheapies 4 or so inch types sold as Christmas ornaments from the museum store) is now enriched by this beauty. If not purchasing this for your own mental health, the globe makes for a great gift.

I have ordered seven. We are having a family reunion and these were selected for the oldest family members. They are beautiful. I also like the quality. I just ordered one for my desk at work. They make great employee award gifts. I highly recommend this one. Delivered fast and package very good! Some people that write reviews expect too much. I suggest you ignore and reviews less then 4 stars.
