If you are looking for a low carb protein, this is my go to. I’m a physical therapist and an avid weightlifter. I work out three times a week and have tried SEVERAL brands of protein powders. 1 scoop has 25 grams of protein and 1 gram of carb. 1 gram for carbs is REALLY good! It also has 10 mg cholesterol which is much better than other brands. Comparison: I initially bought this protein because I was counting macros. I wanted a protein that was high in protein and low in carbs and cholesterol. As stated above, this has 10 mg of cholesterol for 1 scoop. Optimum nutrition has 55 mg for 1 scoop! That’s a significant difference for a weight lifter because most of us guys love to eat our meat which can sometimes lead to high cholesterol levels. Taste: Compared to optimum nutrtion the taste is similar. I bought the dutch chocolate flavor. Optimum nutrition does taste better in my opinion. The Dutch chocolate in this brand is similar to the optimum nutrition double rich chocolate. This tastes good with peanut butter/bananas. Compared to plant proteins, this tastes so much better. Mixability: fairly easy to mix, a little bit of clumps. Check out my video. I typically use the ninja blender. Even if I am using a shaker bottle, the mixability is decent. Scoop: The scooper was on top! No digging for it. After a heavy workout or if I just did not have enough meat for the day, I will use two scoops! Macros: This protein is great for those who are dieting or counting macros. Many find it difficult to hit their protein requirements without going over on carbs. I recommend Isopure because the carb amount is so low!

As someone who takes their fitness and nutrition seriously, I've tried my fair share of protein powders, and Isopure's Dutch Chocolate Whey Isolate Protein Powder has truly impressed me. Here's my review: I appreciate how effortlessly this protein powder blends into liquids. There are no clumps or gritty textures; it dissolves smoothly, leaving you with a velvety and enjoyable drink every time. With a whopping 25g of protein per serving, Isopure's Whey Isolate Protein Powder is a powerhouse when it comes to supporting muscle growth and recovery. It's perfect for anyone looking to meet their protein needs, whether you're an athlete, bodybuilder, or simply aiming to increase your daily protein intake. Isopure's Dutch Chocolate Whey Isolate Protein Powder is a top-tier choice for those seeking a high-quality protein supplement that combines taste and nutrition. With its impressive protein content, low carb profile, and delightful Dutch Chocolate flavor, it's a win-win for fitness enthusiasts and those following low-carb or keto diets. The added immune support from Vitamin C and Zinc is a thoughtful bonus in today's health-conscious world. It's become a staple in my fitness journey, and I can't recommend it enough. HIGH RECOMEND !!!!!!!

I've been using the Isopure Low-Carb Dutch Chocolate Whey Protein Powder for years, and still have not found another brand that comes close to it in terms of combining flavor and Keto/Low-Carb friendliness. You can certainly find cheaper protein powders on the market, but be prepared for the disgusting chalky aftertaste which every one of those cheap powders delivers. You can also find some premade protein drinks which have more flavor, but their carb counts are out of range for anyone who is trying to live a keto/low-carb lifestyle. When combined with unsweetened almond milk, you can power your workout recovery with this protein powder drink without the worries of kicking yourself out of ketosis. Great product for the Keto-conscious workout enthusiast. *Pro Tip* At some point, Isopure changed the serving size from two scoops to one scoop. Use two scoops, mixed with 12 oz. of unsweetened almond milk, in order to get a total of 50g of protein with zero net carbs. (there are a couple of carbs from fiber which do not affect blood sugar levels). This is more protein than I've seen in any premade low-carb protein drink. And it will cost you less per serving than those premade muscle recovery protein drinks.

Edit: contacted their customer support. Provided them with the information they needed and they sent me a new one. The new one I have no issues with it. Thanks. Changing back to 5 stars. I'll start off with I have a low tolerance to lactose. I also usually only get this brand but I usually get the smaller 3lb ones to get different flavors every now and then. This time I got the 7lb BUT I must've gotten a wrong batch or something. It has so much lactose in it!!! EVERY SINGLE TIME I drink it I get the Hershey fountain coming out the other end. It's bad. I know for a fact the batch I got has lactose. One time I took my lactaid pills while drinking it and what do you know, I was fine. If you're lactose intolerant, don't get the 7lb one. I've had success with the lower weight tubs. Now I have 6.7lbs of protein powder I can't use.
