I have dark brown hair (fair skin), and it made mine RED. it mellowed over time, but next time I henna, I'm using a blend of henna, cassia and indigo for a warm medium brown tone. Very different from commercial dyes, but I will never go back. My hair and scalp are clearly happier with henna!
