My first one lasted 7 months with DAILY use and sink washing using hand soap under hot water. I am buying a second one. Why 5 stars? It is extremely comfortable and provides amazing sun protection and has stood up well to abuse. It still is fine, but the elastic isn't as great as it used to be and it is getting stretched out all over.I use it because I am getting my calf tattoo removed and need to avoid sun exposure to maximize effectiveness of the laser treatment.I am able to fold this band on top of itself to make it smaller. Plus, this doubles the UV protection and makes the sleeve less noticeable.

This sleeve helped me so much throughout the healing of my tattoo. I normally wear jeans to work before buying this tattoo sleeve, the jeans kept irritating my healing tattoo. Once my product arrived, it helped me not have an irritated healing tattoo. It is super soft and comfortable. Only issue was that the elastic was a bit too tight for my liking but other than that great buy!

The xl was a little large because I didn’t want it all the up my calf. But I liked enough to purchase a med/ large.. it works to keep the sun off my tat. This one slipped a little the large should be spot on. I did get my large and it fits perfect. The best for keeping sun off my tattoo.
