The new breed has arrived; looks smart and numbers on websites say it fast . At £120 for 500gb it’s on par with the other leaders, but comments from other users e.g. no security, issues with macos persuaded me to send back.

It is a fast drive which I am using for a scratch disk in post production. It could do with the cables being longer (it isn't bad when using a macbook pro but a desktop can be a pain with the supplied cables) however the fast speeds and how portable it is more than makes up for it.

I needed a fast drive to store working files, as syncing 3 different machines is usually recipe for disaster. Works perfect. Sometimes I need to check if I work on local files or files on the external drive. It is THAT fast!
