Graphite sticks for me
Since I have started sketching with these graphite sticks, I am so impressed that I will never use a standard wooden pencil again. These have no wood, so you can use them as a point or lay them down for a broader stroke. You can sharpen them, or you don't have to. You'll never again be restricted by that wood of the standard pencil. A warning though - be careful not to drop them. They break into pieces and then you'll have to use the extension pencil holder supplied in the box. The putty rubber is awful - throw it away. The metal cap doesn't fit - ditto. Otherewise the box is a bargain.
