Q: I know this is a weird question but what does it smell like? I don't like products that are too much like perfume

The scent is quite light, vaguely floral. I don't smell it after it's dried, and no one ever comments on it. (In my experience perfume-y products tend to draw some share of positive comments, from people who like that sort of thing.)

Q: Could you please explain how to use this?

You spray it into the toots of you hair all over. If you have very fine hair like mine, I also add mousse to all the rest! Then blow dry and style as usual.

Q: Will this work as well on toweled dry hair that will be air dried?

I have used this product on hair to be towel dried. It seems to work the same. The volume lift spray does give flat hair a boost.

Q: does this has the same minty/refreshing smell as the old green version?

The only green version I use was the Fructis Style that is a lot better. John Friday is good I will give 7 stars compare with the other that I will give 10 starts.

There’s no spray cap, so I can’t use itIt was delivered in a big box with a gap, so the spray was damaged in it
