Used one of these yesterday to mount a chandelier type light. Easy to use and the product comes with an impressive selection of mounting hardware - more than I expected.The light that I mounted was only about 17 lbs. I don't know how much down weight I'd comfortably put on this but it I have no concerns at this weight and probably a bit more.

I bought this to be able to attach a used porch light (vertical application) in the front of my house. The fact that this thing freely spins is a pain for vertical installation. I made a brace to keep it at the angle I needed.Overall I'm pleased with everything it came with, I hope it lasts.

I had an oddball application and this wouldn't work. I've used these before and they are great. I was in a hurry and didn't plan the job correctly so it's all my fault.

I removed a light fixture from a previous home and it was in storage for several months. Some of the installation parts were lost during the moving process. This kit worked perfectly to replace the lost parts and install the fixture.

This bracket would be perfect if it could be locked in one position rather than spinning around.

The cross bar solved a problem for me, wherein the one that came with a light fixture did not support the layout of my existing mount.
