The tip is really fine so perfect for neat notes, and the ink dries quickly so no smudging. Comfortable to use and good value for money.

My favourite pens by far. Ink is pitch black, writing is smooth and just the right thickness. None of the tips have ever leaked, and none of the tips have ever dried out until there were actually out of ink. Liked these so much I carried them everywhere - and as a result ended up losing a third of them. :p time for another three purchases I think. Worth the price many times over. Updated (months later): 5* down to 3*. Turns out the (great) batch I raved about I bought from a different seller. These looked identical (to me anyway), but are of vastly lower quality. Good while they last but each and every pen plagued with the same problems. Low ink levels. Ink gets clogged in the tip, and the nibs randomly stop working (despite no physical sign of breakage), at any pressure level. They will work great at the start, but you'll get a few days to a couple of weeks use out of each pen - if you're really lucky. Largest problem is the unpredictability. There will be no sign of problems until, one day, half way through a sentence they will suddenly and permanently die on you. No warning. No gradual thinning of ink. No physical breakage. They will just suddenly stop working, leaving you unable to complete the word (or even single letter) you're writing. While I used them I had to carry 3 with me at all times. 2 wasn't even enough, because they were so unpredictable. I don't know if it's low and random ink levels or some sort of mechanical defect. But it occurred with each and every pen, at random intervals. And I've used this style of pen for years, so I'm definitely using them correctly. Maybe I got a bad batch. Maybe they are especially fragile. Maybe it's low ink levels, I don't know - but since every pen in the box experienced the same problems - problems I've never had with any other pens - I can't recommend these pens from this seller. Even discounted, they are unfortunately far more trouble than they are worth. :(

Performance & Quality: I enjoy writing with fine print pens and, for years, my go-to has been .5/.7 pilot G-2 pens. I have, however, always been frustrated with them when writing in a planner due to the occassional smudge. These pens, on the other hand, have had no issues with this. Recently, I switched to Faber-Castell Pitt Artist pens, and while they write perfectly and never smudge on me, they're expensive and I hate to waste India ink on notes and planners and the like. I decided to give these a try because of the price and was pleasantly surprised to find that they wrote as well if not better than my Faber-Castells due to the thinner point (AND hold up to the same standard of drawing/doodling/sketching/etc.) Grip: I love a comfortable pen, but I would put these around a 4/5 in terms of comfort. The plastic casing goes all the way to the edge before curving down into the main point of the pen - meaning there's no softness to it. At the same time, the smoothness of it feels almost like acrylic, so it's not quite as annoying as most plastic cased pens - enough so that I don't really notice it when writing with them for extended periods of time. The 4/5 is due to a lack of grip + exceptional quality without one. 👌 Ink: Nice solid black line - incredibly smooth and quick drying. Extra Bits: The pen cap has a little cap on top of it that comes off if you press your nail against the edge of it and the plastic beneath. It easily snaps back into place and, as someone who often fidgety when thinking and writing, it provides a nice little stimulation. I know it wasn't intended that way, but I like that this little function draws me to it more than the long-lip piece of the cap (I almost always break those off from fidgeting). The little cap design actually keeps me fixated on itself so I haven't broken a single pen cap which has been refreshing. Seems silly, but has been a game changer for me. Appearance: Basic in looks, clear in casing color, but something about the characters printed on the tag and the lack of English on the casing makes it feel a bit aesthetic in a plain/simple/satisfying way.
