Fun to build and launch
My son and I built this together, it was our second rocket, and it was slightly more difficult than the last rocket but still easy to assemble. It requires painting and alignment of the fins but it wasn't difficult. After we got it built and painted we applied the decals and it was ready for launch. It doesn't use a parachute, it utilizes a streamer, which kinda made me think it would fall apart but it's a durable little rocket and is still going strong after 6 launches. It's a standard design and reaches altitudes of over 1000 feet with c engines. It was a great value and affordable weekend fun for us.

Rocket kit is cool. Amazon shipping is not adequate.
This was the first kit I ever built growing up. Cool to be able to rebuild it. Very basic kit.The bad: Amazon continues to ship rockets in bubble padded envelopes. This doesn't stop them from being bent or crushed. They have to get the message that rockets should only be shipped in a cardboard box.

Great little rocket.
My church group of 10 yr old boys built these. The boys were allimpressed by how high they all went. Of the 10 we launched, we only lost one despite the windy day. Part of the reason was that several lost the streamer that acts as a parachute. Follow the instructions and tape the streamer to itself around the cord. Tape the long way (same direction as the streamer).

No parachute.
Does not have a parachute as seen in some of the pics. Only a ribbon.

Fly's Nice!
Wow this is great little rocket! Not sure if it was my great build quality or the light weight, but this thing fly's straight as an arrow. We launched the rocket two times. Once with a A8-3 then with a B6-4. The A8 seemed like to produced the perfect height. As for the B6, it went (dare I so) to high. in the end, we had around 30 seconds where we had no idea where it was!Pros:- Fairly simple to build- Nice high straight flight patternCons- Has no parachute.... One a ribbon to slow down the decent- Probably user error here, but I was not able to recover the engine. Rocket relies on you using some sort tape to hold it in place. I never did that with my launches, so something to consider if your in a dry area.In general awesome little rocket, really fun to fly!

Dosnt come with an engine or launcher. $15 for a cardboard tube, plastic nose cone and 3 balsa wood fins. Rip off

Great, not for young or inexperienced.
This was a great rocket and worked perfectly. I had to watch some videos to get clarification of some of the assembly steps. This rocket is not for the young or inexperienced. It is easy to assemble if you are already familiar with how they work. That being said, there are numerous videos online to help sort out the first timer. Pay attention to the glue. Not just any glue will work. Waiting for glue to set and then dry is not fun. The durability depends entirely on how well you out it together.
