On my 2nd tin ❤️
The media could not be loaded. Coffee was my passion until one morning it just wasn’t doing it for me anymore. After reading reviews and doing some research, I ordered my first Sencha Matcha tin and I was in love! The green is so vivid! I wasn’t sure when is the best time to add honey. It’s hard to mix in when I add it to cold oat milk so I’ve been adding it to the matcha after I whisk it. I add vanilla, cinnamon, and honey which is why the matcha is a little darker in the video. I love the benefits of matcha. I’m one who can fall asleep after drinking coffee so I can’t really say anything about the effects of the caffeine in the matcha but I know that I feel alert but calm.

High Grade Matcha with Reasonable Price!
I bought the premium matcha from Sencha Naturals and this is definitely one grade higher. It's a really nice deep green color and tastes really smooth when I add to warm water. No bitter aftertaste and the price seems reasonable for a really high grade matcha.

Very smooth
This Sencha Naturals Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder is a nice shade of green. The one I got comes in a tin that says 100% ceremonial grade, and it tastes like a high quality ceremonial grade to me. The flavor is smooth and not at all bitter. I like a little milk and sweetener, but I really didn't need it for this one as it has a touch of sweetness. It is Japanese, first harvest and USDA-Certified which are all good things that I consider when buying matcha. The only thing I don't see mentioned is whether or not it is shade grown. I thought it might be from what I found on the brand website, but I wasn't sure so I asked the brand. Here's the reply I got: "Yes, the plants are shaded to slow down growth and increase chlorophyll levels. This step is key as it enhances the green color and flavor of the leaves."I skipped sifting it, and it mixed well with a handheld milk frother but I do recommend sifting to avoid clumping. That's actually a sign of high quality, and this is a really nice matcha. Recommend.

Kind of blah
I probably should have paid attention to the fact that so many of the positive reviews were sponsored... Definitely could have been worse given the low price but I will not be buying again. The matcha is grassy, kind of bitter and astringent. I made it into a latte with plenty of agave and coconut milk but it still wasn't good.

Well-rounded, tasty matcha! I loved it!
I got this on a recommendation and I was not disappointed! I think it may not be as “robust” tasting as other brands of matcha necessarily, but it is extremely smooth, no bitter after taste and really yummy! I only used it for lattes in my case (typically iced with whole milk for reference) and it tasted amazing. I did notice that I felt really calm, alert, but also energized ??? While drinking this consistently. And no jitters like I get with coffee. The color is not necessarily as “vibrant” as some other brands but I don’t feel that took away from the quality whatsoever!! I went through this extremely quickly, but I did have 1-2 lattes a day, 1 tsp each for about a 3 1/2 weeks. It’s definitely cheaper than buying at a shop everyday, and much better quality! I will definitely be repurchasing, I really enjoyed everything about this and I recommend to try it at least once : )note: I use hot water + a bamboo whisk to make my matcha. That method worked for me and I really enjoyed the flavor it yielded!

A Delicious Ceremonial Matcha Made From First Harvest Green Tea Can Be Enjoyed Hot And Cold
Sen Cha Naturals Organic Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder is a delicious green tea that can be enjoyed both hot and cold. The 1oz tin holds a vibrant green colored powder made from first harvest green tea. I used the powder to make a hot cup of tea. The manufacturer instructions state to mix 1/2 teaspoon of Matcha Powder with 1 tablespoon of water to make a smooth paste and then stir in 6-8 ounces of water (warm or cold but not boiling). The powder blended effortlessly to create a paste and when it came in contact with the warm water it quickly dissolved leaving no residue at the base of the cup. The tea has a deep green color with mellow vegetal flavor notes, and a natural sweetness. It is delicious as a tea or when used to make a latte. The manufacturer stated that the tea has approximately 50-60 mg of caffeine per serving. There are 20 servings per container. It is a USDA Certified Organic Product. The tin has a screw top lid that provides a solid seal allowing for the tea to maintain its freshness. The tea originates from Kagoshima, Japan. The product that I received has a best by date of 8 months from the date that I received it. This is a delicious matcha and would make a wonderful gift when tucked into a homemade gift basket.
