Our washing machine has had this moldy mildew smell for awhile, and even after taking it apart and cleaning every inch of mold, dirt, etc. out of it, that I could find, the darn thing still smelled! I started using more detergent, more fabric softener, and even started buying those extra boosting liquids and fabric softener pods/beads to make the smell go away in our clothes. I was cleaning the washing machine every week with this concoction of Tide, Arm & Hammer, and Borax, which works great to get anything out of clothes, but all it was doing was pulling little pieces of mold out of the washing machine. Then I found this stuff and I read all of the reviews. I thought there’s no way this stuff can get rid of that smell, but it’s worth a try. I’M SO GLAD I TRIED because IT WORKED!!!! I followed the instructions and I used half the bottle, but I plan on buying more, so if one bottle cleans it two times, I’m okay with that. Anything is better than having your clothes smell like mold! It was so easy to use, no damage to our clothes afterwards, and as long as you keep it with your laundry stuff, you shouldn’t mistake it for medicine like someone else said they did. I was so relieved to grab a clean towel and actually smell my laundry detergent and fabric softener instead of mold. I’ve been telling everyone about it, AND I’m excited to try their other cleaners for the dishwasher and jetted tubs. I wish I had found this stuff a long time ago! Thank you to whoever made this product!!!!

I absolutely love this stuff. I have tried so many dishwasher cleaners for my mini dishwasher and nothing has ever gotten it clean and always left a residue. I used half of the recommended amount because my dishwasher is a counter top one. it got all the residue off! I’ve seen so many good things about this product with bathtubs and I was so happy to see that they had one for a dishwasher! Very effective they give you a great amount for multiple uses easy to use and doesn’t leave her residue so no stickiness! I will definitely be buying this product for the rest of my life as long as they are in business!

I bought this at the recommendation of my mom, after she used the jetted tub cleaner with amazing results. She had gifted me a front loading washer & dryer that had been in a house she had been renting out. I was super excited for the set, until I discovered that the washer was FULL of mildew. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize this until after we had hauled away my old set and set the new one up. My best guess is the renters washed everything in cold water, used a lot of detergent, and closed the door between loads. Everywhere I looked, I found mildew, and I couldn’t get that awful musty smell to go away. I tried everything the Internet recommends. I ran the self-cleaning cycle, twice. I bleached everything I could reach, wiped down the gasket and drum, detergent dispenser, cleaned out the filter on the bottom. I was desperate to bring this washer to like-new status, but that dreaded musty smell wouldn’t go away. I added a gallon of HOT water to the drum, and almost a half a bottle of this stuff. I let it sit for an hour and a half, turning the drum to swish the soapy water around, every 15 minutes. I also wiped the gasket down, everywhere I could reach, with the soapy water and a rag. After an hour and a half, I turned my self clean cycle on. The first thing my washer did was drain the soapy water, and I thought all hope was lost! But enough soap stayed in the washer that the hot water it used for the self cleaning cycle was soapy. It swished it around for 4 hours, rinsed it clean, and OH MY WORD. I can hardly smell anything!! I’m leaving my review at 4 stars for now. The smell is not 100% gone, but I will be running a second cycle with Oh Yuk! in the morning. If the smell stays away until it’s time for next month’s routine cleaning, I will definitely bump it up to 5 stars! Either way, I finally have hope for this washer! This stuff is amazing! If you aren’t working with a washer as far gone as mine, it will probably work perfectly!

I am really impressed with the oh yuk! Washing machine cleaner. First you just have to let it sit in the washing machine with a gallon of hot water for an hour before you run a cycle. Making it very easy to use. It smells good. Directions are simple. I believe it’s well price especially since the product works better than anything I’ve ever purchased to clean my washing machine before. No mold or mildew smells. I will definitely be buying more of this. Works for extremely well.

I used this in a Fisher Paykel dishdrawer model. The first time I ran it, I used too much and the suds tripped the water leak sensor. Lesson learned - use a very small amount. It's been my go-to for periodic cleanings. I run the full sanitize cycle. Also, clean out your DW filter prior to use.
