Q: will this product work on a craftsman router

I have a Craftsman plunge router and the universal adapter plate replaced the original plate with no issues. I have used this system for many inlays on furniture and jewelry boxes. Makes precision inlay work simple. Wish they offered more templates

Q: Will this work with a router that has 1/2" shank?

The router bit in this set fits a 1/4 inch collet. Most 1/2" shank routers come with both a 1/2 inch and 1/4 inch collet.
