steel tube is great but the chain is poor quality
easy to use, steel tube is good quality. HOWEVER the carabiners and chain that come with it should be heavier quality. the carbines bent within a couple work outs.

Only for 'light weights'
The product itself is fine, material, welding, coating, everything a-okay. But... The problem with this item is that it will only work up to a point; I've exchanged regular squats for belt squat, for the simple reason that my 63-year old backbone refuses to carry heavy loads anymore. I'm fine with weights up to 220 lbs, once I cross that line my spine starts to protest. So I normally use a setup with a Spud belt squat belt, loading pin, two platforms an a DIY stand to rest the weight stack on.The problem with the landmine attachment is that the weight pulls you forward, which is probably not to bad with a couple of pounds on the bar, but is pretty scary when you fully load the bar up (about 6 25k-plates, lift the bar and your feet start slipping away. I was using two low platforms to get enough clearance. As you can see in the picture (not me) it kinda works with a few plates on the bar, but you can imagine what happens if you really load it up to the max. As the bar follows an arc instead of a straight line as is the case with a belt squat machine, the forward force will start pulling more and more once you start adding extra plates. The only other option is to use plates with a smaller diameter and not use elevation in the form of platform, but that limits the weight. So I'll stick to belt squats using two platform and an loading pin, until the owner of the gym where I train gives in to me whining about purchasing a belt squat machine.. :-)PS: This device probably works fine for other exercises, as rows etc.

Rusted. Returned.
Like another reviewer experienced, right out of the box the chain and tube are covered in rust. I tried to wipe it off the tube but it's not a smooth surface. I'm not scratching up my Rogue bar with this cheap accessory. Returned.

A must have for a home gym.
This piece was an amazing addition to the home gym. I use it all the time for back workouts. A must have. One thing I would suggest, don’t use the chain. You’ll Just need 1 carabiner. Unless you are extremely tall, then you’ll need it. Also buy the item in the other picture. Works perfect.
