Easy to use! Excellent results!
Love this product. My waffles look and taste amazing. Light and fluffy with a little crispness. I followed the directions making sure to brush the griddle with oil. I think that gives it the crispness. I took a small spatula and evenly spread the batter but not too close to the edge. So far, I have had no spillage. Highly recommend. And, extremely quick shipping was a plus! (The photo I submitted was cooked on the 4 setting)

Best waffles yet
I have had lots of waffle irons over the years but none where it needed flipped. I read that it really makes a difference and it does. My perfect waffle recipe was even more perfect. It has bigger holes in the waffle, so it would switch to a Belgium waffle very easily. Just use a different recipe. It has an adjustable heat setting which is nice since one kids wants crunchy, and one wants soft. It comes with a cup to help measure how much better to pour and drip plate that can be popped in the dishwasher. Clean up is a breeze, just wipe with a soft rad and you are done. It takes up about the same space as othe waffle makers and fits easly into the cupboard.

By far the best waffle maker I’ve bought
I went through 3 Belgian waffle makers and finally bought this Cuisniart flip. It’s great, easy to use, cooks waffle quick and perfect. I like that i can change how light or dark I want the waffles with the knob. The green light lets you know the waffle is ready but there’s no sound (I wish it would beep). It comes with a measuring cup, so make sure you use it to fill the batter if you don’t want any spillage. It feels a little wobbly when you lift up the handle to fill the batter but this is a minor issue, not much to worry about. It takes a little bit of counter space to store it, but at least it will look nice if you’re storing it on your countertop. I would definitely recommend this if you want perfect waffles.

Flimsy build but Cooks quite well.
Today is my first at-bat with this new (to me) waffle maker. My first impressions & use experience.Flat-out Flimsy. The thing feels positively flimsy. If you like solid, well-built tools (kitchen and otherwise), that will be a disappointment. From what I can tell, the whole assembly is plastic, except for parts of the cooking plate sub-assembly and the tinny little drip catcher plate. Plastic can be OK, but this isn't great. On my unit, there is a fair amount of wobble right out of the box on the front and back upright portions (which together suspend the cooking plate assembly, enabling rotation). That's why I took off one point. I might should have taken off two for this.On the other hand...Wicked Waffles.I cooked up a batch of waffles using a basic Melissa Clark recipe from NY Times Cooking for the batter. And the waffles came out great. "Great" here meaning: very crispy outside, tender inside, light as air. It's about as good as any waffle I've ever had. So that's where the four star rating comes from.Let the Steam Guide You.If your preference is for a crispy waffle surface, then I strongly agree with another reviewer who suggests using the steam rising out of the iron as a better indicator of doneness than the indicator light on this product (thank you to that reviewer!). On my first several waffles, I tried using the light as my guide. It never came close to what I was looking for, not at the middle (3) setting (too wimpy for my tastes), and not on the 4.5 / 5 setting. But just glancing at the steam flow out of the iron when on the higher setting worked quite well. When there is just a thin bit of steam flowing out, the waffle was done nicely. You might have to experiment a bit, as I suspect the various methods of assessing 'doneness' could vary some with the moisture content of your batter. Many Waffles Per Liter. This waffle iron makes pretty great waffles with very little batter -- like, surprisingly little batter (to me). As in: it really doesn't look like you have enough batter to make a well formed waffle. But you do... The measuring cup included with this iron, when filled up, made the iron overflow both times I tried it. (A little of the overflow goes into the edge of the drip catcher, most of it goes on the counter - it figures: the drip catcher extends only a very small amount past the edge of the iron assembly above it, the batter is thick, and so ...) I ended up using somewhere around 3/4 (or a smidge north of that) to make the waffles. It took some adjusting to - the iron did not look adequately filled. But those waffles came out very nicely. It's Messy.See the overflow issue mentioned above. Also, I oiled the plates a bit before my first waffle (just the first - out of eight or so). And the little bit of residual oil also seeped out and ran around the iron during flipping - and this is after I used a paper towel to absorb any bits of excess. So, it's messy. But these are waffles. Waffles are a bit messy to make, in my experience. (If you want something tidy (but bland), pop a frozen waffle into the toaster.) So the messy bit is a neutral point, to me. Just don't think that that little drip catcher is going to save you much by way of clean up.So, somewhat mixed bag on first outing. I really hope this thing holds up. If it does, I'm happy and this is a big improvement, overall, relative to my old waffle iron. Fingers crossed.

Easy to use and great value.
I love this waffle maker. It's so convenient to have it cook two waffles at a time. The waffles come out perfect, nice and crisp, and the thickness is great. It heats up in no time, and the lights let you know when to add the batter and when the waffles are done. Great price, too!
