This is a nice addition to my AM-223 Mini Tripod. The pair of them pack down nice and small and can be easily carried with my minimalist macro photography kit. With the tripod and extension I can now cover almos all shooting angles and heights from ground level up to almost 3ft. Easy to fit, a quick spin of the ball head to take it off the tripod legs and the SL-200 just screws right into the space between the two items. It is rigid, light, and feels good in the hand. Well worth the money.

This is a fantastic compact tripod, well-built and impressively sturdy for its size. It's perfect for setting up a camera on a desk or work surface, offering stability and ease of use.

It’s a great little tripod if you have a small camera, I bought it to help with macro photography and the Nikon Z8 with the 105mm macro lens is too heavy for it, it can be used but you have to get the positioning correct which can be a pain. Very light and compact though and simple to set up.

I like to travel and have up until now been unable to find anything I would truly call a travel tripod. I have other tripods and there are full extension lightweight tripods out there but nothing that I've found that is as compact, sturdy and well made as this one. I knew as soon as I had it out of the box that this was what I'd wanted. As well as travel it will be used for macro and table top photography. This will easily fit into a rucksack or cabin bag or shoulder bag. The build quality and sturdiness is superb and every bit as good as some much pricier tripods. I'm now looking to buy the additional centre column which will make my other travel tripod obsolete. Excellent product!

This tripod is very well made, with quality materials. I am very impressed with the light weight and ease of use. The arca-swiss head was definitely an influence on my purchasing decision; and for the size of the tripod, is more than adequate. I feel the stability, which is the main reason for using a tripod, is excellent. If you're looking for a lightweight and sturdy mini tripod - you won't go far wrong with this one!

Very small footprint and gets very low so perfect for macro work. The legs fold out and the click into place reassuringly. It’s very sturdy and the head is also really good quality. Overall I am super impressed with this lightweight mini tripod. Seriously considering upgrading my main tripod to a Sirui one as it seems so well made

I have numerous tripods but had been looking for a small tabletop tripod for a while. Generally I could only find the simple non extending variety or ones that were larger than I wanted. This fits the bill perfectly. Nice and small and compact, but with legs that extend when I want a bit more height. Not cheap but sturdy and very well built so should last a long time.

Ho aggiunto questo tubo di prolunga al treppiede Sirui AM-324 per avere qualche centimetro in più di altezza quando serve, senza dover stravolgere il set-up o passare a un treppiede più ingombrante. L’obiettivo era mantenere un corredo ancora relativamente leggero, ma con la possibilità di arrivare a un livello più comodo per inquadrature dall’alto o per soggetti posizionati un po’ più su. La colonna in carbonio è molto leggera (circa 200 g), ma appena la si prende in mano non dà affatto l’idea di un pezzo fragile; il tubo è rigido, le pareti sembrano ben dimensionate e la finitura è curata. Il sistema a due sezioni con blocco a ghiera permette di passare da circa 20 a 32 cm di estensione, con un movimento fluido e senza scricchiolii. L’accoppiata con l’AM-324 è naturale: il diametro è coerente, il treppiede non perde la sua sensazione di solidità e l’insieme resta molto “pulito” da vedere. Sulla piastra superiore la doppia possibilità 3/8" / 1/4" rende semplice montare teste diverse senza adattatori strani. Nel concreto, il comportamento sul campo è quello che speravo: anche con una mirrorless full frame e uno zoom standard, non ho notato flessioni evidenti o vibrazioni aggiuntive rispetto all’uso senza colonna, purché non si esageri a sfilare tutto e si mantenga una postura bilanciata delle gambe. Per fotografia paesaggistica o d’architettura, poter guadagnare quei centimetri extra cambia davvero la comodità di inquadratura, e personalmente lo trovo molto gratificante. L’unico piccolo dubbio che ho riguarda la tenuta nel tempo del blocco a ghiera se sottoposto a continui serraggi molto energici, ma al momento la chiusura è netta e non tende a svitarsi da sola. In sintesi è un accessorio che completa bene i treppiedi della serie AM, aggiungendo margine di utilizzo senza stravolgere peso e ingombro dello zaino, con un feeling complessivo da componente “vero” e non da semplice prolunga cosmetica.
