Chef Buddy Food Warmer Plate - Microwavable 9-Inch Marble Hot Plate Keeps Food Warm Longer - Great for Parties, Family Gatherings, and Holidays

I bought this product for a slightly different reason - I like my food hot (and I mean HOT) and for this reason I used to eat very quickly before it got cold. I would always be the first one finished even if I was the last one served, and it can be a bit embarrasing when you are in company. So I bought this warming plate to teach myself to slow down with my eating. The warming plate does keep the food hot and I am now getting used to eating slower. Obviously I cant take the warming plate with me when we go out, but I will just have to put up with that. Two things to note about this product. 1. In my experience it takes longer to warm up than the instructions suggest, so you will need to experiment. 2. A flat bottom plate works better than one with a ridge round it as more of the plate is in contact with the hot surface of the warming plate. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

Very unhappy with product which I only half took out of the box. I am a slow eater and was looking forward to hot food staying warm. As I pulled this out of the box I noticed a warning label which said the chemical products given off could cause cancer or birth defects. I’m not taking extra risks. I think it’s disgusting that nowhere in the product specification did it mention that cancer could be an issue. I am in UK, but cancer is cancer whether in UK or California as the image mentions. Another thing worth noting is that this had to be returned to Indiana USA specifically by UPS at Amazon cost. However this was very inconvenient as there are not many UPS drop off points near us. I feel Amazon should have arranged collection. See warning in photograph. I’m sure it works fine as many have said, I just don’t want another risk to my fragile health.

It's quite good. Now my father is in his twilight years, he tends to be slow eating his dinner. The plate remains hot and does slightly keep his food warmer.

I was asked to get this for a relative, and they have said its exactly what they needed and its great!

Only problem with it is that it is too big for my microwave when it is in the holder, but the warmer tile is easily removed from the holder and put on the turntable. Take care when removing it, as it obviously gets hot. The tile then slots easily back into the holder Takes about 5 mins to warm a plate and is cheaper to use than the oven. Stays hot longer than you would think.

This product is excellent in keeping a plate of food warm. Used for someone who has to eat slowly and a warm dinner plate put on the hot plate solves the problem of the food going cold quickly. The product is very well made and easy to clean. The handles are a great asset. The product arrived by the date suggested and was very well packaged. Excellent value for money. Thank you!

Bought for a slow eater.Warms well in microwave, maintains the heat of dining plate, keeping food warm and edible. Simple but successful item.Has solved our dilemma.
