I purchased the 250GB model, and the intent was for Blue Iris recording. Worked right away, no issues as it's been going strong doing 24/7 recordings.Will have Chinese wording when the drive mounts, but you can rename it and no extra bloatware software. Will see if it will last but if I get at least a year out of it doing 24/7 recordings, then it's worth the purchase.

I bought this Hard Drive to download some of my larger games and its works beautifully. I highly recommend this product. The cords tuck into the unit nicely making for a clean and streamlined device. Just plug and play. Very easy!Howie

Not a brand I was familiar with so was a little concerned over quality. After a year of use, I am no longer concerned. Used to archive Outlook email post boxes (multiple gigs per box, multiple boxes). Works well and has survived life in a backpack. Concerns are gone. Great drive. Easy to use and plenty big enough for several more years of backing up boxes.
