I am an Early Intervention teacher working with young children with delays or disabilities. This book is wonderful to help prepare young children for what to expect when they visit the doctor's or dentist's office. I work with many autistic toddlers, and this is very helpful for them especially to know what to expect (also known as a "social story"). I used it with my own son when he was small, and now I recommend it for many of the families I work with. I recommend using similar language to the book's when talking about the doctor's or dentist's office, and then while visiting the doctor/dentist office for full impact. Wonderful book overall!
