Knape & Vogt Shelf-Made KT-0134-624SN Glass Shelf Kit, Satin Nickel, 6-Inch by 24-Inch

I have this in my Living Room, positioned between framed art from the Group of Seven, with glass and crystal candle holders, a small print of Van Goghs Cafe-all resting on this shelf, and vased cherry blossoms to the side on a side table. There is a warm light below, on the floor, that accents the wall, and this piece glows-even the "silver" support adds to the orchestra. I suppose iron fleur-de-lis brackets with a glass shelf will add the same ambiance and I will go this way eventually to add more stuff, but this gave me the vision and the look is fantastic. It supports the weight of these few trinkets and this will give me the confidence to evolve further. A great piece that is more than just a bathroom fixture.

Nice enough shelves, but they have a slight decline angle downward once installed with the drywall hardware. Be very careful with this. I had glasswear on these shelves above my basement bar, and once the bass of the subwoofer got going, the vibration moved the bottles to the edge and a couple of them fell/smashed. Scared the hell out of us! Other than the downward angle, they are pretty good thoigh.

Todo el contenido está completo, tan solo los tornillos me parecieron demasiado largos. El instructivo es claro y fácil de comprender para instalar. El cristal templado es grueso y llegó en buenas condiciones, tan solo no quedé satisfecho al llegar un poco rayado de un lado al igual que uno de los soportes, solo por ello le doy una calificación 4/5

this is not the same as the ones you buy at actual stores like ikea, the shelf keeps slipping out of the holder, you cannot tighten this fully, the holders are not very strong, dont put any heavy objects on top of this,

The brackets were cheap, look like they were cast and then buffed, but not well polished or laquered, there were some rust and black specks on them. I had to really tighten the upper and lower clamps so the glass doesn't pull out. Glass has nicely rounded corners and edges.
