I have been so extremely happy with this product which I first found out about after researching what the Best portable DVD players were on the market and this scored #1 on the list so I felt confident in buying it. It has exceeded my expectations in every respect. First of all it is very well made and would be perfect for anyone including children because the outside is thick and the screen is well enclosed so it would withstand alot of travel and using on a daily basis.The screen is larger than the majority of players so you are able to watch your movie comfortably with a group of friends or family. I am taking to Mexico and to hotels when traveling because when you travel now a days and stay in hotels they rarely have anything good to watch on their television unless you pay a large fee to watch selected limited movies. So this allows you to bring your favorite movies for yourself your kids, etc. The viewing quality of the screen is very crisp with vivid colors and details. Excellent quality and the sound is very clear and can be adjusted very loud if desired . Very simple to use for children or senior citizens. I didn't even have to read instructions although it does come with a very easy to read thorough instruction guide. I was extra surprised to realize that it also reads a camera SD memory card. So I was able to show my family that I was visiting all of my pictures including ones that I had not printed by only bringing the tiny little SD card. Also, the box it comes in is very well made to store it in although finding a beautiful case is easy because there are hundreds if not thousands of options for cases that it fits into perfectly that also have slots for dvds. I highly recommend this for anyone and it makes a perfect gift for birthdays Xmas etc. I sincerely believe you will be extremely happy with this player and is an exceptional investment also very well priced.

I am pleased to have this unit for watching my DVDs. Over the years I have accumulated hundreds of DVDs and even with the streaming services available, many of those shows and movies are not available for streaming. This device is perfect for popping in a DVD and watching anywhere. Since it has a rechargeable battery, you are not bound by a power cord, but free to move about. I am pleased with the quality overall. There is a similar model with a smaller screen that I am sure is also a great choice, but the larger screen is very much to my liking. All in all, it is about the size of a normal laptop computer. If you are carrying it with you on the go, the smaller might be preferable. I will now watch more of my DVDs since it is such a simple thing to do. Connecting wires to a TV or attaching a DVD player is not necessary. This gem is totally self contained. It does more that just play DVDs so it is versatile. I am happy with my purchase.

EDIT: Temps getting cold here in the Midwest and our power grid tends to go out. THIS is a great time to have a charged portable DVD player! My place is all electric, so it will be flashlights and this player.Anyone else who gets outages fairly often, keep this baby charged so you at least have some entertainment!_________________________EDIT: Back from surgery on my foot and have to keep elevated, so having this dvd player I put on a table next to bed is great. What I have noticed is older dvds, I don't mean that they're not new, I mean older technology, less hi def, don't play as well. I had two that froze. And there was nothing wrong with them, just movies were made like 30 years ago. Films made with higher def tend to work better and not freeze. Go figure. Would get player again. OH it does tend to get WARM. I have it on a hard plastic folding table. I use it plugged in as not travelling, just at home, so don't have to charge it._______________________________I am due to have surgery Mon Dec 23rd. I wanted to be able to watch movies in bed. I have a desktop computer hooked up in my l.r. which I can watch movies on, but if I want or need to lie down, I wanted to be able to watch films.Was pleasantly surprised I received this less than 48 hours after ordering.I immediately opened it up and turned it on. It was charged. It didn't look used, yet it was charged.I quickly looked at the manual, put in a dvd, put batteries in the remote and voila. Put the Meg Ryan movie French Kiss in. And it played!PROS:PRICE even with tax got for 108 and it said it usually sells for about 160. It also had the best and most reviews on Amazon for a DVD player THIS size.So far, seems easy to figure.Good size screen and I am use to a large computer monitor. I have never had a portable dvd player before but I can't imagine watching on a screen about half this size. So score.CONS:I have a headset and will probably be using it because I have great hearing, but the sound does not go that loud and while I can hear it, but the sound isn't crystal.The picture isn't PERFECT, but good enough for my needs. if you're used to really hi def, well, not that.Tomorrow is my surgery, two days before Christmas, but now I know I can watch films in my bed at home.BOTTOMLINE: SO FAR, THRILLED even with the caveats above. Glad I got it.

This portable DVD is the perfect size screen to use in my sunroom for the yoga/workout videos that I have. The screen clarity is on point. I'm not a sound expert, but in my opinion, the unit's speakers could sound a bit sharper, but I'm not going to quibble on that point. This unit came in two colors: black and purple--which I thought was pretty cool...most DVD players are black...purple is my favorite color and that's what I chose! Easy use instructions...also, the remote control works well, the buttons are sizable and not too tiny. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase.

This portable DVD player has a nice, big screen and is easy to use. It's great to have when you are watching TV and someone else wants to watch a DVD. Plus, you can use it in the car. The picture is clear and the sound quality is good. Also good to listen to CDs.

Great DVD player. Good sound and simple buttons. I bought it for my little kids to do their school work Math DVDs without the risk of having adds or anything else added that streaming sometimes has. My 6 year old has loved it.
