My second purchased for this item. I find it useful in eliminating dust on top of my furnitures. Works perfect for a building without good ventilation system. In regards to absorbing smells from cooking, takes 2 days before you can get results. After using it for 3 months, I observed the dust in my house is back. That means this works only for 3 months.
