Excellent boots, but nasty gasoline smell with last pair
These are completely unlined, which is a key and hard-to-find feature. It means that they can very easily be rinsed out, and will dry quickly. A number of other brands advertised as unlined have a thin layer of fabric laminated on the inside, which will mildew. All of these cheap rubber boots will eventually crack, but these have lasted substantially longer than the last brand I tried. These boots have a deep space between lugs under the heel, which tends to accumulate snow and mud. I fill that space in with "Shoe Goo" so as to track less glop around. Update: These have been my go-to boots for years. Previously gave them 4 stars. But, the last pair I ordered, November 2020, has a nasty gasoline odor. I expected it to dissipate, but it has persisted for months now. I tried soaking in vinegar, scrubbing with baking powder...can't get rid of it. It's contaminated socks and pants as well. New rubber formulation, or contamination? I hope this was an isolated incident, but I'll be checking other reviews before I order this brand again. Further update: Last pair has bit the dust. Nasty odor finally went away, and I got good use from them, 'til cracks appeared on the bottom. If I'd been preemptive I could have applied "Shoe Goo" earlier and extended the mileage a bit further. Got another pair, and this time the odor was not bad, although noticeable. Back to a 4 star rating. They have gone up substantially in price--due to tariffs I suppose--but are still a good deal.

My daily slip-ons
I used these boots every day for over a year. anytime I go outside I just step into my boots. Everyone in my family and friends calls them my slip-ons. when they need to grab something from outside they say I'm gonna borrow your slip-ons. and step on in them and go. I've had these things in mud and high water. floods and thunderstorms on the tractor all day. fought off an angry rooster and saved said rooster's life from a raccoon in the middle of the night in these boots. ran to the door grabbed my big bore air rifle and stepped in my slip-ons and saved many chicken's lives. This happens more than you would think. .. I've road atvs and dirtbike riding. Dug ditches with a shovel and put many miles on them. I'm 100% going to buy more of these anytime I cut or wear out my boots. I love my "slip-ons"

Great boots for insect protection and waterproof
These boots are strong and sturdy and quite heavy, which is a good thing! I am a 70 year old female and have a terrible problem with chiggers in my backyard. No matter what I spray or broadcast, I cannot get rid of them - and they are the horrible big chiggers that can eat you alive! Anyway, I purchased these boots as I used to have a similar pair when I had a cattle ranch that worked well for me. I know I probably look ridiculous in my backyard wearing these boots, in the city, but they do the job! Now I can water plants, do gardening, set the water sprinklers, or whatever I need to do outside. I no longer come inside my house with chiggers all over me! I am delighted with these boots and highly recommend them.

Good Boots
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend who was washing dishes at work at the time. He hates to have stinky wet feet (as we all do) so I got them for him and he wore them everyday until he decided his dish washing days were over. Lol. The boots worked like a wonder. No more wet feet. He did say they were a little big and somewhat heavy. He still wears them on days he's going to a job that might be messy, so yeah, I think they were a good buy and we're happy with them overall.
