Great rechargeable batteries and charger for super price!
Good rechargeable batteries for great price. I've bought 2-3 dozen of them in various sizes and they all work great and hold a long, steady charge. Batteries can different sizes charging at the same time. Meter is easy to read. Newer version of their batteries are even better, but not massively so.

Charger works
Charger works fine. But the batteries don't hold charge for long

Compact, reliable, versatile = great value for the price
Reliable, versatile, easy-to-use charger that works with a USB-C power block. Great for travel, as it uses the same power block I use for my phone, laptop, tablet and watch when I'm away from home. This 8-bay charger now lives at my summer home, and I have bought a 4-bay version for travel.Meets my first requirement: individual charging channels can charge a single battery, an odd number of batteries, and a mix of AA and AAA batteries. Other compact chargers require charging in pairs, which can be very inconvenient.Second requirement: well-designed bays that easily reliably make solid contact with AAA batteries. Putting batteries in is not the finicky process requiring wiggling them about until contact is made that it is with some other chargers I've owned. Snap 'em in and off they go.Third requirement: This has a "conditioning" feature - push the little round button and the charger will automatically discharge and then charge the batteries (I think it repeats this process one more time) to restore older or little-used batteries closer to their original capacity. This is good for brand-new batteries (which benefit from "break-in" repeated charge/discharge cycles) or those that have been sitting unused for many months.

It's a overall good 8 battery charger, with some quirks. For the price, it's good.
This 8 cell charger is overall good.Problem 1I charge all the batteries to full, and even leave them on the machine just in case it trickle charges for an extra 2 hours after they all register as full.I then take out the batteries, let them sit on the counter for a couple hours then put them in the charger. Well, while I expected them all to show full charges after say 10 minutes or so,, some of the eight batteries needed 40" more to get to full charge....even though a couple hours ago the device indicated they were thoroughly charged!I need these to be TRULY charged to Full, and only getting some of them truly to 100% full charge the first time is not good enough. So when I 'm going out on a job, I'll charge them twice, just to be sure. (BTW, the voltage on a voltmeter indicates they are all at the same voltage roughly, so there is something else at play here.Just for grins, put the 8 charged batteries into my into my four slot La Crosse charger, 4 at a time, and it indicated two of the just minutes ago "fully charged" batteries as now "defect" and would not charge them! That makes no sense. So I put them back in this 8 cell charger, and after about 40 minutes, these undischarged NIMH batteries finally showed "fully charged."Something is iffy.So rather than take a chance, I tossed the two batteries away that La Crosse didn't want to charge and called "defective" , as I can't risk having one "iffy" battery in a four pack in a camera flash, as the set is only as good as the weakest battery.Problem 2 It's REALLY hard to extract the batteries from the charger. I broke a nail prying them from the + terminal end. I then pinched a battery, tugged it a tiny bit toward the "-" end, and was a little more able to get my fingernail in the narrow slit. If you have nails with nail polish, you don't want this charger to chip off their tips!

must have
super quick charging and the batteries last. I love the fact that you can charge AA and AAA with the same charger.

Physical size of battery and longevity
The batteries are a tiny bit larger that devices. While it’s a tight fit in the charger they can he removed but in a products such as a case fit lights, a candle, controllers they are extremely tight requiring a micro screwdriver you get them out. Then the battery is mucked up.Also the charge lasts about 24 hrs when in use which is not acceptable (even after a few recharges. They also deplete after 2-3 days out of the charger. I’m unhappy but I have nothing to compare too, it’s my first attempt at rechargeable batteries

Excellent Smart AA/AAA Battery charger
This was a great purchase after my 4 slot smart charger stopped working! I especially like the discharge button, it's helping to restore life in several old AAAs that I thought were worn out 😀

works just as advertised
This charger is a huge improvement over the previous EBL chargers I've purchased. I especially like the fact that it can charge by Mini USB as well as USBC. You can also charge just one battery you don't have to do it in pairs. It's much more advanced and still at a really reasonable price
